Thought the same but such was not the case as it did not retain previous card info, having to input once again but by the time i realized what I was entering it was too late & should have gone ppal route as same. I suppose you win some then lose some.

My address info was saved but CC was not. I always have my CC stuff typed up in a separate window though so I can just copy/paste it in.

That is because the address is filled in from Abnormal's profile....whereas the CC is then on shopify's platform.

Anyone know where the hell you can find the current tap list online?

I have never wanted to sell my bottle of pappy 1 and profit off a brewery more than after picking up my bottle on Friday. I showed up right at 11 and had the worst experience. It shouldn't take over 10 minutes (that's after I started paying attention, probably closer to 20) to order a taster when you are sitting at the bar and it isn't packed. Their stouts are good but their IPA's suck, plenty of other great beer around, where I don't have to deal with incompetence. .

The service is always questionable at the bar. God forbid the bar is busy and all you want it the bottle since they have to meet you at the door, whatever that's about.

We went to dinner on Saturday and had a bad experience also. Completely different than a visit last year where everything was exceptional. This time they were disorganized, food was not good and the service was terrible. We watched another table get up and leave after waiting 10 mins after being seated because no one helped them.

A real shame to see such a difference after only a year. This place used to be a favorite but now it's unlikely we return.

I don't think that it's available on their site. I have never seen it.

With all of the taps they have available, I'm very surprised that nothing is posted.

I’m not saying you are wrong, just never heard of such a thing. Why can’t they hand it to you at the bar or just bring it to a table? They are still handing it out within the establishment.

Abnormal Beer Co and The Cork and Craft are technically different entities and Abnormal is selling the bottles directly to consumers, so someone acting on behalf of Cork & Craft shouldn't be delivering them to you. For the first couple releases, they made you walk around the back to grab bottles out of the actual brewery part of the building. Slightly inconvenient, but made sense from a legal standpoint.

How they can release the bottles to you in the front hallway but not at the bar itself is beyond me, but having heard enough ABC legal silliness from brewery employees, it wouldn't entirely shock me that it's legally compliant.

I also did not have the best experience on Saturday upon opening. The staff seemed overwhelmed, but that energy should not transfer over to the customer experience.
I heard one of the bartenders(who seemed like the lead) tell one of his other coworkers, "lets get all these guys their bottles and get them out of here" I didn't think that was very professional, especially while plenty of people were sitting at the bar. It didn't seem like the staff that was on at the time, were very beer savvy.
The best part was when the bartender asked the other guy who was running the bottle pickups, when the last day to pick up the bottles was. I mean a 3rd grader probably could have figured that out just by visiting their social media pages.
But to be honest, I usually always have a good experience when I have gone. This time, it just rubbed me the wrong way.

    I'm up I ok
I should add we were not there to pick up a bottle, just dinner in the restaurant. I didn't see anybody picking up a bottle so didn't think it impacted the dining experience.

The changes we experienced compared to a previous visit was a significant drop in food quality for a number of dishes, and poor front of house service from the maitre d and our server. I understand off nights but this seemed like more of a broader shift than a hiccup.

I agree with you on this point, but I also have to point out the constant questions regarding pickups and "what were the allocations?" on these boards despite all of the information being in an email that they received.

I've only been to Abnormal a handful times, but I've only had great experiences. Both at the bar & at the restaurant. The only thing that shocks me is the food was not good. What did you get? The first time I went we got appetizers, and they were so good my wife said we have to eat for dinner next time we go. We did come back for dinner, and the food was fantastic.

The only dinners I have had at Abnormal are either their beer dinners or else when Phillip was the head chef there....his pork belly was the bee's knees.

Otherwise I tend to order that tater tot poutine or else the wings extra crispy and sit at the bar. I have noticed that those that know you will pay more attention and greet you than others behind the bar. Never noticed the dining service to be anything but great...but again...my dinner experiences have been for the special events or else quite a while ago.

I had dinner there on Friday. Food was good, service was great. Then picked up bottle afterwards. That was quick and easy too. It was after their busy hours though ~9 pm so maybe that helped?

I don't know the legality, but highland park sells beer out of the Hermosillo in a similar fashion (growler fills, bottle pick ups), maybe someone is technically breaking the law, I don't know. But it seems stupid that they can't have bottles at the bar and just hand them to me there, or deliver it to a table. Under that theory/law, shouldn't an abnormal employee also have to hand it to me and not the manager of cork and craft?

Wow, I hope the abnormal people take note, the continuation of bad reviews, and amongst beer nerds will kill a restaurant/bar/brewery. My main advice would be that all your servers should know what beer is available on tap and be able to pour it if the one bartender is busy. You don't have to give me tasting notes, but when someone ask for a barrel aged M3 know that it exist, and don't give a blank stare.

And what percentage of those things has actually impacted the killing this place you think? Prolly less than 1% if ppl are still buying $26 worth of 375 ml of beer and buying/trading it.
