If Instagram is to be believed, and even if they're creative with the timing of their posts, they've canned several different batches of beer, bottled some others, have commissioned and printed label art for each batch, have bought branded clothing, glassware, and merch, have even gotten the stupid plastic 4-pack holders.....and they're giving the beer away?

That's a lot of money going out for a business that doesn't actually exist, or a hell of an expensive homebrewing hobby.

Thats correct. I think they're investing big time up front to create hype before opening and it seems to be working

If I can offer some constructive criticism to whoever runs VSBs social media.

    1) Marketing fatigue is real. I know you guys are excited about your can release with Mast Landing, but posting multiple times per day on instagram with the same exact measaging and a slightly different pic is just exhausting.

    2) would be super cool to have some descriptions on your other posts with what beers are brewing or some beer descriptions instead of a stream of meaningless hashtags and mentions. As someone interested in the future of your brewery, I would prefer some meaningful content along with the pretty pictures.

Good luck going forward, hopefully this helps.

Like if you dont have any news or even retweets about people enjoying your beer, dont resort to retweeting stuff from other breweries that in no way relate to yours. I hate when people treat their company social media account as their personal account

4 pages, haters hating above, talk of a release. It's becoming real, but mostly because they brought out the advohaters.

You also have the choice to unfollow the page? There is this thing called free will, no one is forcing you to follow them. You could also start your own brewery/business and apply your thoughts to said venture instead of trying to tell others? Trolls gotta Troll though.

I wouldn’t say trolling. For me it seems a little odd to hear about this brewery through this thread on BA yet not hear any news except to hit them up on instagram to try and get a free beer. I’m perfectly willing to pay to try their beer, but to this point you can’t. Bump this thread up to the top once there is substantial news regarding the brewery in progress. Otherwise the comments are going to be fan boys fighting trolls for the next year or so.

It’s definitely trolling when you start a thread to for I nflammatory comments that technically is the definition of internet trolling, but what do I know other than how to use a dictionary and google search engine. Am I a fan boy, yup, because I know them well and know they’re great people, have tried all of their beer and think it’s a quality product, know they’ll work hard to improve every batch, and they have the support from other brewers. But again, what do I know?
