Thanks Panda I will be sure to check it out. De Bierkoning was on my radar but that one id overlooked.

My friends are not into beer anywhere near much as me but I have marked down Arendsnest, Oedipus, Beer Tenple and In De Wildeman. Anywhere else I must visit with only limited time?

Only four more of these left in the fridge. They sure have quite the presence on this thread. After the beer is gone, I'm gonna miss that colorful cap!

 

Fires are roaring, dinner done, and dishes (and gin) put away. Early night cap of Brandy and a porter - "Piconera":



Aromas of milk toast and chocolate. Better still it tastes of roast malt and chocolate. A little lite (and zippy), but I like it...and what it lacks in warmth this chilly evening is more than made up for with the Brandy - Cheers y'all!

I’m not from Amsterdam myself, so my knowledge is somewhat limited to the highlights. I know @JamFuel has been on a beercation in Amsterdam. Maybe when he tunes in he can add something.

Ok Thanks, Sterk has been added to my map! T’IJ is that the one with the windmill and lots of outdoor seating? I think I have been there before. Hoping to find some De Molen that I can’t get at home. Dutch Beer is not well represented in the UK. We mainly just get La Trappe year round stuff, so if there’s anything I need to keep an eye out for please let me know.
