Absolutely agreed here. I went from stouts to Lagunitas IPAs to a whole new world of many different kinds of beer. I am sure that with longer (5+ year) studies, those polls will show shifting beer preferences as well.

Again, I am not saying that "women are why we have oat/lactose IPAs". What I am saying is that there are growing and shifting marketplace trends (income and age are involved as well, as you stated), and a business should capitalize on them.

Other Half also releases beer semi-weekly. If they are putting out a type of beer you don't want, you can just go few days without drinking beer.

I don't want to live in this hypothetical world where I go a few days without drinking beer.

in the tap room after 1pm. Every time i have been there it's always been a pretty good mix of genders. The line and before noon is probably a different story though.

To be honest the few times I’ve been there on the later side on Fridays/Saturdays in the last few months, I’ve always been surprised by the even representation of the sexes as well as the dressed up nature of people there.

I got a mixed 4 of the Triangle Tests from a friend and I am going to wait till Thanksgiving to try them all with my cousin, you think there will be any drop off waiting that long? I've heard some mixed things about some of the variants

I know plenty of women that drink IPAs that don't contain fruit or lactose sugar.

TBH whoever told you it would be even close to dipping in quality is an idiot

Drop-off after 11 days or so? They might even be better. The hysteria and excitement of waiting in line for a beer and getting it directly from the brewery a day or two from canning is making people think that as new as possible is best, this is not the case. Granted some beers drop-off over time, but for most beers it is certainly not in the first 2 weeks or so.

I made a satirical beer trading video 6 years ago ( see link in my profile to access it) poking fun at "old, 1 day beer in garbage can, who knew 6 years later it actually maybe true to some people !

I don’t think the mixed reaction has anything to do with it falling off in a couple weeks but rather the opposite. Most people are hoping the burn mellows in time, at least from what I’ve heard.

I have beers in my fridge that'll be well over a month old when I get back from vacation. Gonna need some fresh hops when I get back. If I can get some release info for December 2nd in advance that'd be grrreeeaaattt

Other Half beers last months with minimal quality loss. Most get even better.
