Does anyone have any updates on the quantities still remaining from Monday - today?
As discussed earlier, most people seem to think tomorrow will be the busiest. What time do we think people will start lining up?

Honestly, I can't imagine even tomorrow selling out before the afternoon/evening. Bottle counts are up, mules are down, and you don't get the thrill of being hunted by a serial killer as you wait in line for your pastry stout.

That time is now for me. I haven't gone to a single AC release in months, or to any of this week's Cycle releases. I love Cycle beer, but man, $30+ a bottle will set you back bigly if you just casually buy 2 or 3 of every day. I plan on being there tomorrow when all of them are tapped, though.

Surely, $35 bottles of beer go a long way to pay for a means to store and cool your kegs at two different temperatures.

I can't even begin to imagine how many tiny breweries I've been to with multiple tap stations, where each tap station had its own kegerator, cooler, cabinet, whatever-worked storage unit.

I mean, for starters, this is $2k. The grandmule mentioned in this thread almost spent that much on just her allotment yesterday.

Cycle has one cooler that it's kegs are stored in and tapped in. Have you seen the space? Where do you suggest adding another cooler at tap station without a complete remodel?

Cycle certainly had the $$ to do this, guys are knee deep in cash with every release.

I think the issue is Cycle may think they are "above" this. I like their beers but I am not a fan of going in there to have a few drinks. At times I get the feeling they think they are "too cool" to give the customers what they want. Crap, sometimes they won't even answer basic questions asked. I know I'm not alone on this.

I have seen the space--there was a whole shit ton of unused space last I was there, in the back and around the bar, but, maybe not today..? No idea, will be back in a couple to a few months, depending.

That said, I'd gladly charge $2k/hour to help redesign if they aren't able to figure that out themselves or hire someone they trust that doesn't overcharge--they could undoubtedly afford either route.

I've experienced this as well. I'm always having a good time when I'm there and usually don't care to complain in the moment, but, it's practically a self-serve establishment, and I don't really think it takes all that much effort to get it to be a step above that.

No limit and a short line this morning for DBR. Glad to see Cycle's officially killed the secondary on these bottles.

Nah, it's just a bad time of year. As someone mentioned, if this was released in January they would be selling out.

Lots of beer expenses the last few weeks and the holidays around the corner.

Let’s not kid ourselves and blame the time of year on why they aren’t selling out on these things right away. I’m sure that plays a small part in it but if there was money to be made by flipping these bottles people would still be lining up at 2am. There just isn’t a huge profit margin on them anymore.

As a person who has never engaged in this activity I am happy that I can get in and out and on with the rest of my day. Love Angry Chair beers and am thankful when I get to try one these days because I refuse to fight that hassle anymore. Not the owners fault, they just make great beers and people are willing to pay 5x the cost. And there will always be someone willing to put the leg work in if there is an easy dollar to be made.

Well stated..agree 100 Percent...all year other than Friday Beer Week Bottle, Angry Chair Collab Bottle and Double Barrel Vanilla Bottle Cycle Beers have been much easier to get as The Flippers have all moved on to the next "hot thing"..one of the things I am thankful for in 2017 as we approach Thanksgiving Week

DBR is so good. Difficult to imagine a non adjunct barrel aged stout being better than this. No hype needed. Glad I can walk in and get as much more as i want

This is how I feel about Rare Dos 1, which stuck around for like a month.

Me too. It’s very, very similar to rare dos1 but slightly better. Slightly thicker, smoother, a little creamier. Just so f’ing good.
