They had some ZD derivitive last year at DLD. It might have been Zombie vs. Unicorn, a Pipeworks collab. Pretty sure I had it...can't remember...that's a good sign...I think...

 

Yeah they did, it was good.

 

"Zombie vs. Unicorn" Pipeworks said they're going to be canning it soon. They posted the label on twitter or instagram.

 

Was that on the same tweet that Pipeworks said they would be canning dark lord and going to nation wide distribution?

 

Dragon Abortion will be making a return to DLD MMXVIII.

I'd prefer not to waffle on the subject, but I've no idea how it has developed in the bottle--I'd like to say not that much, but the varying reviews are shocking to me.

 

Just noticed that last year's thread started 10 days sooner than this year's...

 

The date was announced 10 days earlier last year.

We have such a long way to go before the next announcement/event. I think the next thing is the DLD website with the password field that everyone guesses but no one ever cracks goes live.

 

I guessed it correctly. How do you think I was able to move it back to May....Tons of awesome settings in there- I turned off rain and long lines settings, but accidentally clicked muscat barrels instead of whiskey barrels for variants.

 

Don't lie, you know that wasn't an accident.

 

Aside from the sunburn, the no-rain toggle was a much better choice than the muscat was a detriment. Mistakes were made, we're all human, I'm sure you'll get it right this year.

 

Just don't be like that robber who broke into a house and left his resume. We'll be needing you for 2019.

It's a testament to how much of a shitshow the Lincoln Park BCS release was that it shut this thread down!

 

I agree. I've NEVER seen another shit-show overshadow the Dark Lord Day thread before. As a matter of fact, the DLD thread usually absorbs other releases and threads' shit shows into it.

 

There's still months to go before the next announcement, but I'm curious if they will have limited number of variants and then a bunch of vintages that they can purge again.

 

LP Binny's BCBS release went so well last year, and it turned to shit this year.

DLD went so well in 2017...be very scared for 2018.
