Corridor Brewery & Provisions

Well, I get kind of ocd about making sure my palate is super clear before drinking that sort of beer. It certainly wasn't as clear a profile as something like Squeezit (where I got the citra and mosiac really well), but I also didn't find it that different than a PT or TORO! in terms of overall hoppiness. Although my palate was a little jacked by the time I had TORO! (started with PT), so who knows, there.

 

Opened my first crowler the day after the release and my 2nd tonight. The alcohol and malty sweetness is more present one week later. This isn’t unlike Super Duper Sauce. If anyone is holding on to one, get to it soon before it declines more. It’s still ok now so I don’t want to overstate things

 

@dubo09 I saw that Squeeze It is returning. Anything else on the horizon?

 

Just confirmed that Van Hazen: Diver Down will tap Friday evening around 5pm. This version will feature Vic Secret along with Citra.

 

Hmm... HA Benthic release and Corridor Van Hazen on Friday. = long day. Fun day. Good to know, thanks for the update @dubo09 !

Squeezit cans....

 

Really wish they would be able to can more. Good thing I have the day off. Expensive day with Rev cans.

 

First batch of cans are dynamite. I unfortunately will be missing this one. Hopefully it'll be on tap when I swing in on Sunday. Though if we're going by the last release it'll be long gone.

 

So what's the line like?

Got to Corridor At 12:40 and was pleasantly surprised to get a 4-pack of Squeeze-it. I was just coming for some crowlers to go. Got to try Van Hazen 5 and a pour of Squeeze-it.
As always excellent beers and staff at Corridor.

 

Per their Instagram they say they sold out by 1:30. Not bad since I think the first time only lasted 20 minutes.

 

Probably lasted longer due to cooler weather, not being the very first can release for Corridor as well as that it's readily available on draft and in crowlers for a few days every month or so. I love that last part. Having said that, I did swing bye yesterday for the can release. Came maybe 7-8 minutes before noon and was #32 in line. Got my 4-pack over my lunch break and was on my way. Pretty quick and easy.

 

@dubo09 Made it in for crowlers and a pint last night. This batch of Squeeze It is really damn good. Nice to have this and Van Hazen going at the same time too. Anything fun coming up after Thanksgiving that you can share?

 

We’ll be releasing an all Mosaic DDH IPA next week. Looking like Tuesday, 11/21 around 5pm. We’ll have our first pastry stout release (chocolate and, hazelnut) the first week of December. Rapunzel our Tripel that took silver at GABF will release in December as well. Also, brewing Cosmic Juice Box this Wednesday.

 

Next Squeezit (alternative hop) release will be around the second week of December.
