    Tapioca starch is pretty neutral. I'm guessing they wanted to add body without adding sweetness. It sounds gross, but I wouldn't prejudge.

    Disappointed in the low allotment for Alien Church (thanks to case limit). Was hoping to stop by for some late tonight but apparently already gone. No real interest in an Apple Cider beer.

    FWIW, the apple is very muted. It's detectable if you're looking for it, but they hopped the hell out of this one. (I still prefer Alien Church, though.)

    I didn’t know what to think of the apple cider beer at first, but as it warmed it tasted excellent.

    Got in line about 5:30 and was through about 6:00. I’m going to have the apple one today. Thoughts will follow.

    Happy Thanksgiving Tired Hands fans. I got the fridge loaded with TH waiting for a great day of football, turkey and beer!

    For anyone turned off by the "apple cider" portion of this -- don't be. Main impressions were the hoppiness and the thicc body. Apple-y sweetness was there but muted. Not my favorite Tired Hands DIPA but definitely a good one.

    Mountains of the Moon does an interesting thing where it takes the dry cider finish and utilizes that instead of bitterness. The bread on the other hand was totally worth it.
