Goose Island Bourbon County 2017

I was there in the afternoon and I think I saw the same dude. He was giving another beer guy shit about how they weren’t supposed to be selling it yet. Dude still had a bottle in his hand and told me they didn’t get any. I was the only guy in the beer section so this guys giving you bullshit as usual. 100 people my ass. Classic grocery store run around.

 

Sorry you did not get the coffee stout but they had plenty of barleywine and about 50 cases of the regular which are just as good.. dont give into the hype bro.. i do think its funny how people who didnt buy a sixer or four pack or bomber of goose island all year long show up for the coffee stout.. maybe if we supported the brewery more they could expand and produce more coffee stout

 

How are you always complaining about the food emporium but keep on going whenever they get rare beer... its guys like you that are ruining the beer game

Total BS that anyone should have to prove they're a loyal customer by buying other GI. It's not GI requiring this, it's the distributors and/or stores. It's very simple, they're running a business selling something and a customer wants to buy. If you're required to buy something else to earn it, then it's a club. Is it a club? Do you have to earn the right to buy broccoli by buying potatoes first? Or is it just you imagining they require proving loyalty?

It goes for a brewery as a whole... there would be no bourbon county with goose ipa, lolita. Madame rose just like there would be no kbs without all day, pc pils, azacca... those whole actually buy thes3 beers are the foundation of our snobbish attitudes

Have you ever spoken to anyone in the store about their pricing... no you havent because they would lower their price for you as they do for me.. but yeah i know you will be their because i am told they are receiving the largest allocation of cbs in the city and how does it keep happening since theyre such a garbage store

 

As I said in my first post I spoke to you and your buddy. So for this CBS release do I just show up and have you lie to me again or do I need to be on your good side to avoid the gouge fee?

If youre worried about a gouge fee just buy harpoon they have it at an everyday low price of 7.99 per sixer.. i hear their porter and winter warmer are tasting amazing this year

 

I’ll explain then I’m gonna go drink myself silly. @Beernut9230 and @Hopsonhops pretend to not work at Food Emporium in NYC yet constantly promote their store all over BA even though they do nothing but lie and gouge their customers. They should be banned.

 

Why should people have to buy sub-par beer all year just to get a great coffee stout? GI needs to step their overall game up. So many better option these days except for when it comes to the BCBS line.
