No variants my way at all. Only the standard. I was able to pick up a case of the standard with no wait in any lines.

Variants are selling very fast in AZ, regular is unlimited at about 10 bucks ea. Pretty cool they had Goose Island guys at my stop and I scored a free sniffer for the 2017 release, they had tons of free stuff, was pretty tame overall.

Went to a shop that posted a photo of regular and coffee. First one there this morning and he suddenly had no coffee. $13 for reg. Nobody else around has anything either. Kinda pissed I put in the effort.

That is pretty sweet, at my stop the raffled off the Knob Creek ones, you could not buy them. That sort of sucked as it was one I was going for. But as a whole the others were abundant for about 2 hours then just regular and barley

Ended up snagging 7 of the regular edition from 9 different stores here in Columbus, Ohio. Spent the last 4 hours looking and calling. It's a shame that we didn't get any of the variants at all, but at least I have my hands on some top quality beers over the next year. Figured I have a nice talking point with my beer buddies, but just wish I could have gotten something other than the regular version. Oh well!

An inch of cold brew coffee in your glass, pour regular BCBS on top. BCBCS voila.

I keep seeing all these stores selling the knob crew reserve bottles outside of Kentucky and Illinois. What’s the deal?

I had to drive from St. Cloud to Maple Grove to get this, but I'm VERY happy with my haul. I've never had the coffee and barleywine. I'm so excited, and one of the regular is going to a friend.

Edit. Just noticed that I somehow got a 2016 regular. I wonder where that came in in my 3 stops?

Anyone notice that the reserve and coffee were bottled the day after each other in July and the regular was bottled in September?

I thought coffee was just regular with cold press added. Any info from GI on this?

Somehow managed to snag a Reserve here in Texas. Not sure how it made it to Dallas (wasn't this just IL and KY only?) but stoked to be able to get one and not have to trade for it.

Also got one each of the variants and several regular. Enjoying a 17 reg' at the moment.

    Cheers!

How's it taste? Only one review on BA at the moment for this year's batch. Post a pic.

Lol, I feel like adding anything to this beverage will taint it. What if the Cold Brew doesn't match? What if theres still residual water left in my glass from cleaning? Too many factors to attempt to create my own version of something I'd rater just hold out for. Or trade.
I'm a broke college student so getting 7 bottles far surpassed my budget for the next 3 months lol.

I would post, but the photobucket debacle ended my picture posting to BA. 17' tastes most like 16' to me, but it's got the typical bcbs taste so it' all good. If I was being overly critical, it tastes a bit thin, but thats just being nitpicky. Glad I have 15 more, lol!

My bottles have a date of Jul 24, which seems real early. Are most other bottling dates this much earlier than usual? Just seems odd...

Got three regular, one each of BW, coffee and north woods. All for the low low price of $101. Ouch.

Um, okay, i guess. That's exactly how they do it at GI when they bottles BCBCS, blend in some cold brew with regular stout from the barrel. It's a good beer but unless you're trading it to someone else, pretty pointless tracking down imo.
