Apparently. My brother-in-law said it hung around their grocery store for 2 weeks last year.

Wisconsin allows liqour sale in grocery stores. Minnesota doesn't, and most grocery stores don't have a seperate liqour store attacked to them.

I feel like an idiot for choosing Northwoods over Reserve after reading some of the reviews on Northwoods. Still happy, but in hindsight wish I got the reserve instead

What have you heard of Northwoods?

FWIW, I am drinking my bottle of Northwoods right now and I think it’s great. The flavor is as-advertised with the Blueberry, and although I would not have picked out almond, that certainly added to the overall mix.

I know the Reseve is more limited, which is a different story, but if you enjoy the Northwoods as much as I am hopefully the disappointment will fade!

Cracked open bcbs. Great batch. Might pick up a couple more bottles when I see them around. Seems like there was a lot more this year than usual.

That is a very good thing. Hopefully it's a trend, and we get even more next year.

Just comparing the BA reviews, Reserve is quite a bit higher. Saw a couple reviews saying that the blueberry juice didn’t work well with the beer, but I kill for bcbs infused with fruit. Backyard Rye is like my favorite beer ever

Anywhere in/around the cities still have coffee BCBS (or other variants)? Never had coffee before and would love to try a bottle if there's any still lingering by chance. Pm me if you have any info. Wasn't able to get out and hunt for anything yesterday unfortunately.

What's everyone been paying for BCS? I've seen a few people post, but what are Coffee, and Northwoods...etc... going for?

Do shipments of the variants ever go into the following week?

While reserve is harder to find,I opened a northwoods and was very pleasantly surprised. I got huge almond and vanilla flavor and a tannic character from the blueberry. Overall it exceeded my expectations and hopefully you'll like it too

Your best bet is finding a shop holding onto their shipment to release at a later date.

Nothing left for variants in the metro area. Coffee was hard to come by. Most places I saw it there was twice as much Northwoods as coffee, so coffee went quickly. Good rule of thumb, if you want variants and don't want to pay secondary, best to get out on Black Friday and spend the time like everyone else. Good luck on the secondary market!

For Coffee virgins, best bet every Black Friday is to hit a bar that's serving it. This year, Stanley's, New Bohemia and I'm sure several others were pouring.
