I don't wish to knock this place or these guys, I wish them success in their endeavor but IMO this place is not a destination. Maybe things will improve over time.

Well, you just did. And with no explanation too.

Maybe you can share what happened or what you didn't like about it?

Perhaps if I shared in all honesty my opinion of their offerings it would be seen as definitely knocking their beers.
Let's just go with I've been around geographically and over a considerable amount of time and think the beers here rate in the yawn category.
How about you hit them up and we'll compare notes?

***edit, I see that you did, but not very helpful. Just the beer wasn't great?

I don't see a beer list on their website. Are they doing exclusively Belgian style beers?

Well in good news, I was unaware of this place until now so there's that. It's a bit of a hike for me but I'm sure I'll make it over there soon.

Additionally, they've just opened, and it can take time to adjust to a new brewing system so their beer might improve shortly.

No such thing as bad publicity. I'd also like to know why the OP thought this place is a destination? I've also never heard of it.

Ah, the destination thing. I probably won't think it's a "destination" place either to be honest. I wouldn't call most of the places in the area destination places. For that you've got to be real good, good enough that you'd make a fairly long trip to get there. Jester King outside of Austin, TX, for example, might be a destination place. Hill Farmstead in Vermont. I could keep going but I think you get the idea.

In the immediate area, I'd say Hidden River and Tired Hands would be destination places based on reputation. Troegs and the new Yards (speculative) based on size of breweries and tap rooms. Dogfish Milton is also a destination as there seems to be people from all over the world when I've been there.

A new brewery in a corporate/industrial park in Aston? No.

Yes, I totally agree with all of those places as destinations. I'll even throw in Monk's Cafe. But right, exactly.

Stopped by the "new" Yard's on Friday afternoon. Good beers, good food, good service.
Pretty crowded and raucous when we were there. Hell, there were 14 of us so we blended right in.

Mostly Belgian yeast beers but I think there was an English style IPA.

I said it was NOT a destination, meaning I wouldn't go there from my house with that place being the primary destination. Now if I was near there on some other business I might drop in.
