I will be moving out to California in February 2018, and I am big fan of beer. I currently reside in Florida, and I plan on bringing some good brews from here out west. What is the best way to get tied into a Bottle Share group in the area? Thank you in advance.
Offer to pop all your "walz, bra" during your housewarming party and I'm sure you'll have local neckbeards banging down your door. Or maybe you can convince iluvBA4life to get a regular share going again at 38 Degrees in Alhambra. Those were always great. He claims he stopped them to get in better shape, but he's still the same shape as before.
Does Vendome on Robertson still do the occasional tasting? Not sure what their permit allows as far as opening non-property owned bottles, but it might be worth asking once you're settled in the neighborhood. Otherwise there are a couple cool places in the neighborhood that have free BYOB you could very likely use as a location for small shares. Or, you know, you could just invite all us local BAs to crash your new pad and drink all your beers.

I'm a recent transplant from Chicago now living in DTLA. I had a few regular shares going in Chicago, but I've found shares to be a bit tougher to come by out in LA (maybe it's because things are so spread out?). If someone gets a share going, I'd be glad to bring some good bottles by.
