Anyone know if they still have cans of Space Daydream?

I think we're saying the same thing! Of course all of these breweries have developed at least a basic brand identity, but the degree to which they've really refined that identity is largely a matter of resource constraints and business strategy! I mentioned Equilibrium only because they've been hit by some criticism here on BA for their rather plain/ugly/repetitive label designs. I think it's fair to say they probably haven't poured as many resources (financial or other) into their labels as a brewery like Other Half (which has been paying an agency for years now), but this is no doubt a conscious decision by those running Equilibrium and is probably a combination of resource constraints (new brewery = expensive!) and strategic calculation.

FWIW, while I personally find Equilibrium's labels ugly and the neo-gothic font they use somewhat out of place, I think they've done a really good job of using photography + social media to market their beers. For this "type" of brewery (doing most of its packaged sales at "release events"), packaging appeal is way less important than it is for a more traditional brewery that is sending their cans/bottles to stores, where they'll have to catch the eye of a consumer on a crowded shelf. Contrarily, it seems to be the "beer ****" photography that gets people pumped and spreads like wildfire on Instagram.

Ex: Grimm labels are way cooler than Eq labels, but when you see these two pics, are you more likely to base your purchasing decision on those or the appearance liquid itself? Or neither?!

if these are the debates that happen with lowered limits then I'm all for reverting back to a case per style

I feel like this has been the healthiest debate these threads have seen in a while.

The positive side effect of lower limits.

I was actually prepping for more action on bleu cheese vs ranch but it seems like the cheesers concede their ways are folly.

Speaking of raising limits, I'm morbidly curious how much of a shitshow things would be if they lifted the limits entirely for one release.

Looks like All Dank Everything had rye in it.

I don't think the Ranchers are ready for that fight, specifically the Buffalo wings heirarchy I've developed.

A person's intracranial pressure can only go so high without adverse effects taking place. I can't have that on my conscience.

I heard a guy went into Singlecut for a release a few months back and bought like 20 cases or so since there were no limits.

If there were no limits you’d have a hazeboi lining up 2 days early to buy it all and immediately start reselling to people in the line.

I mean once you mentioned something about mixing Greek yogurt and Hidden Valley packets, I knew I couldn't have a real conversation with you :stuck_out_tongue:

I'm just going by the commercial description as listed here.

it's so good! Call it a pro tip.

Plus, you can buy ranch in a mini keg! There's a reason nobody needs mini kegs of blue cheese.

It's not that I don't like ranch, it's just that blue cheese is simply the superior condiment on chicken wings. Just as mustard is better than ketchup on hot dogs, or russian dressing is better than mayo on a turkey sandwich.

Spinoza himself acknowledged the divine superiority of ranch when he said, "Deus sive Ranch on Chicken Wings."

Anyone stop by last night // happen to know if they still have Space DD cans available? Website shows them, but I haven’t followed it close enough to know how timely they are with updates.

Yeah they had cans last night - not sure how many left though. Some guy bought three full cases of beer as I was sitting there. They may have had more in the back but if not, I'd say there was maybe 1 case remaining.

Oy. Well, thank you for the response! Saved me a potentially disappointing 30-min bike ride
