Anybody in the Charleston area, check out the Craft Beer Exchange at any of the Sonoco gas stations? They supposedly have all micro brews on draft, local, regional, and US, as well as 6 packs and 22s. My worry, is if they clean their lines like they should.

The only time I noticed what was on tap was at the folly road one. It was awhile ago but all crap. I usually only go inside to pay cash for my gas or get a gatorade, so I don't pay attention. Frankly, I don't see the point of not just driving the extra mile to the maybank pig.

IMO the original Beer Exchange in that city is way better.

I have had a few growlers filled at a couple different Sunoco stations and they have tasted fine. I cannot assure the lines were cleaned though. The selection of bottled beers is mediocre IMO. They have 2$ off growler fillls from 4-7pm on Monday and Tuesday. Overalll, it is a fair place to buy craft beer, but I would rather give my business to the people that share the passion for craft beer such as CBX and the Pig.

I seriously doubt sunoco employs **** klan member hippies, but I understand what you're saying.

Since the ancient professor took me to task this afternoon, Let me clarify what I assumed was obvious. If you're already on folly rd, just go the extra mile to the pig over a gas station, it's not the best, but definitely better than a gas station.

happy now you crotchety old man?

Not only do they sell inferior low detergency gasoline, but now they sell growlers to get a piece of that me too product offering. Unoriginal bastards know nothing of quality.

Maybe they can punch puppies to go for a raver trifecta.

That may actually make me forgive them for their other faults.

This. If I lived in Charleston, I know which one would get my beer dollars.
