Dude. Read the thread or use google for the second two. WF literlly has an entire page dedicated to it.

Beermenus for northwoods is your best bet. Expect to pay 40 a bottle.

Might want to check Park West Liquors. I went in last night and he had Reserve and Northwoods. Only catch is you have to buy either three bottles of regular or BW or mix and match. I passed because both of those were overpriced.

Damn and I thought I was paying a lot for NW at Lively Liquor the other day at sub 30 when I tipped off this group. Looks like it was a decent deal.

Anyone end up going there, get a reserve for 29.99 or NW? I should go back today.

Supposedly Northwoods at Fresh Market in Bucktown, $40, so it was just sitting on the floor. Let your fingers do the walking on this one.

Whenever I feel tempted to grab a $40 reserve or NW I just remember I can get a 4 pack of VSOD from Revolution next Friday for $30 and the temptation goes away.

I think Lake County liquor stores are getting drops today. Just picked up some reg (12.99) and BW (14.99) at Foremost on Milwaukee Ave. in Deerfield. He had 3-4 cases of BW and 6 Reg.

I may be in minority but I enjoy northwoods. The fruited bcbs Variants seem to get better with time. Regal tasting great right now imo

NW at Fulton Brewpub was the best beer I drank that day, which included lots of regs and coffees. Haven't had banana Foster yet.

You’re not alone....might not be many of us, but I think it’s freaking excellent. Give me backyard, regal, and NW all day....Everyone else can keep VR.

I enjoyed NW. It's definitely not my favorite this year, nor do I think it's remotely on par with previous years rye stuff (this one isn't rye, but I look at it as taking that spot in the lineup), but... I've drank a couple and enjoyed it. I think it could conceivably get better over time, too. Right now that blueberry is nutso.

I'm going to Mikerphone after work, so I'll give it a shot. Trying not to get my hopes up.

BTW, the Whole Foods stores in the burbs are terrible. The people you talk to about Friday are not informed, either don't know what is going on or if they do know tell you they can't discuss what they will have. I wasn't interested in numbers, but knowing what variants you have is important. Most sound like 4 BCS + 1 Variant... but you have no idea what variant they have. The website says call for availability but the people are just being tools today to get information from..... Most don't even know about CBS too.

Just picked up both Reserve and Northwoods at Lively. Not sure how much is left, he got them from the back.

Wow. I stopped in there 2 days ago and was told that there were no variants left. That really chaps my ass...

Keep in mind the berry variants are usually my favorite...but I had to pour out the final 2-3 oz of my bottle.

I had a sample before the release & didn't detect it being cloying, but boy, I can't say I enjoyed this at all.

Interesting...I didn't think $4 over MSRP (I think) was too bad, with NW at $28.99 and Reserve at $29.99. It's obviously still not cheap, but considering you have to line up for them typically and most other places that have them available now seem to be $40+, that was my reasoning.

I just called Lively and was told that all of the variants are gone, and have been gone for days. I then told him my "friend" just stopped in and told me that he got 2 variants from there. The guy proceeded to tell me that they had variants, and they sold the rest of them earlier today.

I'm not about to mess with a place that will blatantly lie to customers like that.
