Man, this is starting to sound like another clusterfuck in the making.

 

I was going to prioritize Whole Foods to try to get another variant or 2. After reading the last few, I guess I need to drive by Jewel and see which line is longer.

 

You've gotta love a BCBS and CBS release on the same day!!!

 

The hype is self-fulfilling, fellas.

And it works exponentially worse when you consider the amount of lurkers to posters here. I would know, since I lurked long before posting.

If we like, will a release to be a breeze into existence, it'll like just be, man.

 

Why in the hell is there more info about bottles in the Chicago area than MI in this thread!

I know! Was going to swing in on my way to work. I usually drive past that Jewel around 6:50 - 7:00. Trying to decide if it's worth even stopping at this point. I'm sure there will be a line by the time I arrive.

Luke was pretty quick to respond back.

 

I called the Elmhurst Jewel and they said they don’t have CBS yet but are supposed to get three cases. So pretty much he can’t say for sure if they are getting it by tomorrow morning at 7 AM.

 

For those In the west burbs, Bartlett said they have 2 cases and can’t sell to 8. Carol stream also said two cases but seemed unsure as to when they can/will sell. He initially said that they will sell “around 730-8, but it would be there at 7 when they open” he was really confusing and unsure so I posted in the jewel blog for clarification.

I had planned on checking out those locs after dropping my daughter off at daycare in the morning but will end up passing based on likelihood of getting anything with the small amount available.

 

Well every Jewel by me said haven't gotten it in yet and probably won't until around 10am tomorrow. Seeing as I will be at work preemptive Prop trade on the table.

 

I'd certainly wait to see how plentiful it is before you trade a prop. That said, if you really wanted to do that, pretty sure I can hook you up with someone that has 1 today.

(Yes, this is coming from the guy that is not even sure he's going to get 1 =/. That's how things go sometimes though.)

 

So either it'll be sitting on shelves for days or we'll all be lucky to get a bottle or two.

 

Has anyone gotten and cracked a bottle yet? We got one today and just cracked it and everyone was very underwhelmed by it. We ended up opening up a KBS from this year as well to compare and KBS is clearly better. The smell of our CBS is also unappealing.

 

Oak forest Jewel said “between 2-4 probably” and Dyer said “9 most likely”. Neither sounded particularly sure or aware of the release. OF didn’t think they even had it yet

 

Agreed! Cuz a little birdie put it in my ear today that this is gonna hit Vermont within the next two weeks, I'm trying to "sift" through the other info in this thread to see if anyone else knows anything about it coming here.

Over 4k amount of ratings/reviews = 4.68 on BA, 12th ranked beer in the world, no doubt I'm gonna be looking for this.

edit: guessing this is more "Midwest/Great Lakes" related info. Guess I gotta go check another online source on when/where I can find this in VT, eh, oh well.
