What is the most pungent floral hop you all recommend?

I’m looking at putting a recipe together for a Pale Ale in the Sierra Nevada Celebration realm. Thinking some caramel malts to lend a light amberish red color with sudsy floral and pine hops.

    So Chinook & ________ hops.

    Recommendations?

I find Cascade to be floral in a SMaSH beer but if you want something reminiscent of Celebration then use Centennial.

Crystal is the most floral hop I've used.

Centennial, for sure. In large amounts it can be nearly unpalatable (for me) if not blended and cut with other hops.

I’ve had bags of Montueka that were straight up Magnolia blossom and citrus

Like I said over in the Hop Head Farms thread, their Centennial.
I also really like Crystal, but it's not as pungent.

Sterling can be pretty floral when dry hopped but my first suggestion would be centennial.

One more vote for Centennial and make sure to drink the beer fresh(er). Centennial hops are abundant in the compounds of geraniol and linalool but these compounds seem to 'fade' fairly quickly in commercial beers.

    Cheers!

Chinook, centenial and cascade. Late addition cascade , with my home grown hops, gives me floral.

Dry hop with centennial when the fermentation is winding down, and the biotransformations give floral and perfume aromas. Bell’s Two Hearted is all Centennial and they use this technique.

Centennial for sure...Pacifica if including low AA quasi-noble ones

Centennial sounding like it would be a nice hop to do in a Farmhouse beer.

Perfumey, floral notes to add to the citrus, bubblegum phenols I’ve been getting from Belgian Saison II yeast.

Anywho. I’m gonna do Chinook, Centennial in this batch of pale ale. Thanks everyone.

I would never consider using any classic "C-hop" with a POF+ yeast strain, but ymmv.

I've thought that Centennial would work well in a hoppy saison or hefeweizen in the past, but it hasn't turned out as planned.

There's definitely a reason that Noble and Noble-ish varietals do better in these beers. Tropical hops aren't bad choices either, but give me a Noble hopped saison every day of the week and twice on Sundays.
