You guys are doing the Whole Foods bcbs release wrong now that amazon owns them. I just order a case of prop online and the drone is in route.

That's true. I was first in line. Last night the person in liquor said he had a case of the "blue one". Checked with customer service to see if all would be available or if the employees would get them. Told me to my face all would be sold to customers. This store is a joke. I'm local and shop there but not anymore.
Also only one variant pp.

 

Ended up with one each of Prop, Northwoods, and Coffee at Edgewater.

That Reserve is elusive - they only had ~12 bottles.

 

Most WF only got a case of reserve. Some didn't get any.

 

It amazes me that some of these large WF get only a case of Reserve, while I know of at least one small shop that had 3 cases of it on Black Friday.

I guess we should thank GI for sending a bunch of those Reserve cases to states besides IL/KY.

Whenever they reach their intended recipients in other states, of course!

 

I have a nice spot above my fireplace for these ... the Reserve sculptures look a lot better out of the box for anyone else who needs a tip for decorating.

 

I was happy with WF, but that’s because I was 3rd in line. I have to say, though, that if they had such small amounts of variants, they should’ve only allowed 1 or 2 variants per person. It would’ve spread the love around a lot more.

 

I swung through there around 8:30. Both variants and CBS were long gone. They had a shit-ton of regular though. And the kale is on sale.

 

Ah, the kale variant of BCBS.

 

The guy behind me at Binny's this morning said he waited in the Schaumburg line, and scored a Prop. Apparently the guy who was first, showed up at 2 am, and they didn't allow 3 variants per person. He was irate when they told him, "with a line like this, we can't honor what the website says".

Definitely disappointed with the River Forest release, 1 case of Coffee is absurd - although I saw @Zoomslowik up toward the front, scoring a Coffee!

 

So if somebody wants just a bottle of the regular any shot at still getting one if I ran over to say Willowbrook around 11?

 

Everyone's favorite market just re-stocked their 39.98 northwoods. They seriously must have gotten a dozen+ cases.

 

Is that some silent 7th* variant? Sounds healthy.

*8th/9th - depending on if you count DB reserve and Reserve Barleywine.
