    Not surprised the 2 absolute worst places to buy beer in the city are gouging. You probably have to buy a case of blushing monk just to be able to buy CBS there.

    Yeah, I love the "helpful" link to beermenus (as though I didn't check there first)--the fact that a restaurant (The Helm) has essentially the same number of ounces of CBS for $27 versus $32 and $38 at these two stores is nonsense

    Does anyone know if you "contact Ray" if anything will even happen? Better off just waiting for more inventory to hit more reasonable stores?

    I spoke to Ray (or at least someone else at Food Emporium), who said if you can show that a local store (i.e. Bread & Honey or something very close to them, not Brooklyn or Queens) has it for cheaper, they'll match that price
