What happened to all those claims that Founder's was making so much that this would sit for weeks? I am sure that there are some smaller out the way stores where it may sit for a bit or others areas in the distribution chain that it will sit. If the larger cities in Michigan and Chicago are any indication, this won't sit for more than a day.

I almost started to believe it since I read it so many times, but had a hard time accepting that CBS would just sit around in Chicago given its absence and the city's reaction to annual KBS releases.

Ladies, gentleman, and scholars...please, see this post for what it is and give it no energy. Even as hilarious as it may be.

Enjoy those other 2 bottles bro, and feel free to send us some BL, Monkish, and RR so we can all understand your superiority better. I'm glad you could help us understand that haze and BA stouts are the only thing that matters.

Shit...I didn't take my own advice. Learn from my mistakes everyone!

EDIT: Oh, and please stop letting Guy Fieri out of his cage. That is all. Thank you, come again!

How was the bottle pickup line for those that went to Founders yesterday? Presuming it moves pretty fast

I’ll add onto this and ask those that are going today how the taproom is. I’m going next weekend and wondering how packed I should expect it to be. My gut says today will be busier than next Saturday, but today should provide some indicator.

Founders was packed yesterday at noon. An hour wait for food and standing room only. But had some nice gems on tap and the bottle line is pretty much nonexistent.

Was busy last night but got a table and quick service. Bottle pickup was quick and easy. Few peeps in line but quick and efficient.

I can think of much worse problems to have.

On topic, bottles of cbs were reasonably easy to come by in my part of Indiana. Picked up a couple, but I am gonna trade them both for more Black Tuesday that nobody appreciates when I take to bottle shares anymore.

Looks like the Cascade Meijer in GR has a few cases left if anyone in town is still looking...

The Rock? That place is as bad as Jonah's. Highest I saw it around Flint was 27.99 and was able to get one for 23.99. Lucked out.

Just purchased my ticket for the Detroit Tap Room pick-up on Dec. 16. Beats driving 2.5 hours each way for only 2 bottles.

I'm having the same issue. Tried the app and 2 different browsers on my computer. It has said "Off Sale" the entire time.

I just went through the link on the Founders facebook page and it worked. Weird.

Amazing troll @sponger , always enjoy a good laugh over all this serious beer business!
I've got to say, after having a few Founder's releases this year that I typically enjoy (most notably Breakfast Stout and Backwoods Bastard) turn out how they did, I did not have high hopes that they'd be able to turn out a quality batch of CBS... That said, they nailed it out of the park as far as I'm concerned. The flavors are all there that I love so much about CBS, and it has the perfect amount of maple for me. Any more and I think 8-12 oz would be too sweet in the end, great amount of chocolate and barrel as well. Is it the thickest stout in the world? No, but it's not a 500 bottle small batch product either. They made metric fuck tons of this product (an actual measurement I checked...), and made it without the quality noticably suffering.
People across the country were able to walk into their local shops yesterday and buy one, two, ten bottles, and some buying as much as they wanted to sell them on Craigslist for exorbitant prices! A beer lover's wet dream and @sponger is soaked with envy and regret for not buying more than three bottles of this liquid sex.

Troll or not, that was a hilariously salty post; no idea why people enjoy posting that sort of shit. It reads like he/she was hurt by other entire regions of the US in the past.

I'm hearing pretty varied opinions on CBS, so before I crack mine, has it seemed pretty similar on tap vs in bottle? I'm trying to decide whether to grab a pour at one of our clusterfuck local events.
