I passed on the recent Punge release because of the last Punge release before it. Shame to hear that it seems it's on the same downward spiral.
I miss the OG versions of Punge, Alien Church, The Light that Spills, Mago Tago, I could go on...

I'm very intrigued by Cake, Icing. The blend of adjuncts (sticky rice, coriander, guava, vanilla bean) honestly sounds delicious, and I'm really excited by the prospect of an extension of the culinary IPA away from the core milkshake base. I, among many others, am becoming increasingly sensitive to / turned off by lactose sugar, so I'd love to see them venture away from it entirely and explore culinary IPA experiments that don't rely on it!

Also, this could explain the cryptic "I'm done with lactose" message on the TH Instagram story with Henry from Monkish a few weeks back.

Cake, Icing does sound pretty good. Wish I could go tomorrow. If anyone is going and would like to swap a can or 2 for recent milkshakes, bm me.

Perhaps, but I know of at least one local brewery that scrapped their seasonal vanilla bean stout because of it.

Do they always have HopHands available for sale? My cousin is stopping by today, but not late enough for the can release. Dying to try something from Tired Hands, so might settle for that one. How is it?

They should have cans of hop hands at the general store. I have heard they also sell cans of hop hands at the ferementaria. You could also maybe have him get you a growler or two from the brewcafe or fermentaria.

Cake, Icing is awesome. As it warmed, there was a bit of a guava bite in the finish, but overall it was a perfect balance of juicy hops, guava, along with a touch of vanilla. Much better executed than the OK cans from a few weeks back (excluding the triple IPA, I didn't get to have that one).

The triple IPA (ARE WE OKAY) is amazing, FYI. Still have 3 cans left in the fridge.

I was hoping someone had cracked one. I will do so tonight.

And yeah. Are We OK? is a fantastic beer. Really loving the non-Milkshake side of these "culinary IPAs," they're pretty unique.

Can confirm, 9 times out of 10, the morning after a Hands bender is like the last drop of a log flume.
