These sound kinda good, OH Imperial Stouts are super sweet in general so might as well just make pastry stouts.

You're probably right, but I can't wait to buy them and then spend months slandering them.

I might as well switch out my Spinoza profile picture with one of Nietzsche, given the amount of 'Eternal Recurrence' that appears on these threads month after month.

As has been pointed out, less than a quarter of beers released in the last two months or so have included lactose. Given OH's more or less semi-weekly output, it's fairly easy to get non-lactose beer from them. And are you guys aware that you can buy non-lactose beer from other breweries around NYC? Incredible!

If you don't like the lactose, don't buy them. If you continue to buy them, don't complain.

don't complain is the worst advise you can give on this board and especially in this thread.

Haha, of course. I mean we are (mostly) all New Yorkers here, and there's nothing more 'New York' than complaining. I love complaining so much, I complain about others' complaining.

Good, Berries is done so well it will only make you want to buy MORE of their stouts.

I wonder that every time the stout bottles are released but, correct me if I'm wrong, that has NEVER happened. Not with WBOHIO, IAL, Cane Life...what other BA stouts am I missing here?

I'm pretty sure some iteration of red wine in absentia was on somewhere once.

I've always found it frustrating that those bottled beers don't seem to ever wind up in kegs, though it's easier to prove they have than that they never did. Maybe they're just aging the kegs until they taste better haha.

Am I misremembering or are the limits on these bottles lower than all of the stout bottles this past year or so? I'm assuming they'll make it to Saturday, only the J Wakefield bottle sold out fast.

The first batch was on the old taproom probably october of their first year. It was my first visit and hadn’t heard much about them. I bought 2 growlers of it. I actually havent had it since.

Also there was only 2 IPAs on that day out of 10 beers.
