Oldest user least karma?

Since you've been gone, people started liking beer that doesn't taste like beer. Warning: Watch out for anything labelled a "milkshake," it might actually be a beer! Strange times we live in.

All kidding aside, Tree House makes some good IPAs and stouts. Not everyone's cup of tea but certainly worthy of a try.

 

I think you got the prizes for 5,000 and 10,000 points reversed.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if there was some "inactive" counter in the calculation that reduces karma of those not active. Pure speculation though.

I was just typing up a reply that the 5,000 point prize is probably worth more than a week in Hawaii if someone wanted to sell that stuff.

I wouldn't worry about it. I know professional brewers who have lower scores

 

I literally lurk at least 20x per day. if there was karma for that, Id be rolling.

 

Do Pobah's get a Fez?!

 

The Westy can be ordered online, KBBS is trickier but perhaps will be more available with their brewery expansion.

 

Not sure what a Pobah is but Poo-Bah's do get the fez.

 

My thought is this

It is great that you came back into the BA scene to give your experience to us, however, there are many BAS that in just 3 to 5 years have done so much more for this site than BAS with only longevity ,not karma. So i say that karma is directly related to imput now , soBAS like @cjgiant or @utopiajane who provided so much knowledge in a much less time frame have a well deserved poo-bahs status!, they are the true poobahs here!. But glad to see old school BAs pop back in! Cheers

Good job all... @billk went from zero to 120 karma with is only post ever getting 50+ "likes"

 

I think beer karma has a lot to do with reviews, comments, etc.

 

The new jobs report implies that half of our karma and likes will be automated in the next 10 years anyway so we won't have to worry about it. Yay robots?
