I've gotten three 4-packs and all of the bottles list 15.9%. Maybe OG Paradise is 13%? I doubt they made two batches for lower ABV states because if they did, that's the one GA would have gotten.

Drank one of these last night, was absolutely incredible. Highest rated beer I have had.

Found some of the these in the OKC area. Came up for the brewery release tomorrow.

In states with a lower ABV limit they SAY it's 13%

Phenomenal beer, best Prairie stout yet imo. Would pay the steep price again, this one is exceptional. Love the decadent dessert flavors but the way it's really not a sugary underattenuated mess....finishes (almost) dry, body has some elegance to it. Not thin by any means but just enough chewiness to carry the flavor and not descend into sticky diabetes territory. They pulled this off beautifully.

This is their first beer to hit full distro that is really comparable to their brewery only releases - notably PP and Okie P, that showcases their ability with the adjuncts/coconut. Glad to see that it's getting some love B/c I took one sip and said Holy Hell! Crazy too that it's 16% which is also new territory for them.

The ABV is sneaky. I didn't notice it until I had finished the bottle. Very smooth drinker and then the booze hit.

As far as I know these haven't hit Indiana either. Maybe the NE corner by Chicago, but not otherwise.

Sipping on one of these now and it’s out of control! The coconut and vanilla do a great job of hiding the ABV. Right up there with Booyeah in my opinion.

Agreed, the alcohol is very well integrated into the whole experience. It drinks much smaller than 16% but has some controlled heat and perceptible booze around the edges, so you get a real sense of the barrel. In some bigger stouts and BWs I feel alcohol presence can exert a positive effect and bring shape, contrast, definition, prevent cloying, etc. Very deft here. Think of something like world wide stout or even Black Tuesday - the alcohol in those has an almost vodka-like rubbing alcohol quality that for me is terribly unappealing (vintage bottles notwithstanding). Out of the gate Bourbon Paradise is amazingggg.

Can everyone please take all your positive reviews elsewhere? You're driving up the value, and I have yet to try it.

I saw somebody on Untappd say they bought in Indiana today so maybe you're not looking hard enough

Just had one, and although it was outstanding, Prairie has a lot of outstanding beers and for me it comes in slightly better than BA Bomb, but less than Coffee Noir, Pirate Noir, and Pirate Bomb - with the caveat that the Pirates are aged at least 6 months.
