Did you mean Toto. I think Totto is the Spanish version.

All HHF Centennial IPA has come into its own. Between the slightly bready, honeyish maltbill, very floral quality of the hops, and the orange esters from the HotHead yeast, it reminds me of Mediterrean/Near Eastern pastry flavored with orange blossom water.

Was it sulphury? those weizen yeasts tend to put that off a lot, at least in my experience with them.

The pack had a slight sour smell (date was good) and i didn't want to drive a hour to get another. Now that it's done it has a light hazelnut smell. Also did a ferulic acid rest so maybe that did something. It finished at 1.014 so there's one positive.

Opened the latest batch of american hopped saison last night. I used a different yeast on this but a lot of the similar attributes I enjoyed in the first batch are there. Pils, wheat, caramunich, Citra, Wyeast 3726 Farmhouse. 5.3%. Bottling up a Mosaic hopped one tomorrow with the same recipe!

Popped my first bottle of Mocha Porter this weekend. Coffee and chocolate notes as hoped for - no bitterness and oh so smooth going down. Was hoping for a bit more body but I am very happy with it.

[IMG] Obsidian stout clone from BYO (the recipe is also on the dechutes website). One of my favourite beers from them, and this recipe is bang on. Notes of dark chocolate bitterness and vanilla.

West Coast Imperial IPA, a loose Pliny-type recipe with Columbus, Simcoe, Centennial, and Amarillo. Bitter, piney, resin, with citrus on the finish.

How do you can all of this beer?

About 1/3 (final pour) Red Rye Triple IPA and 2/3 Munich Dunkel. Not bad, would have liked 50/50 to get more of the hops across. Oh well. Set to brew my next IPA in 2 weeks, so I guess it's commercial IPAs for now.
