They were out of coffee around 2:45. Still had everything else.

Maybe their $10 up charge on NW wasn't helping that. The guy in front of me was calling em out on that but they didn't seem to care.

A buddy said he stopped in at about 130 and they told him they only had regular. I’ve never been to prestige so idk if it’s in sight or behind the counter to really know.

The variants are behind the counter. They’re usually pretty good about letting you know one way or the other.

Yeah no way I was touching NW at that cost.

Jewel on Broadway & Addison has a few cases of regular at $10/bottle.

Prestige Westmont has really redeemed itself this year. They rocked it on Black Friday, doing away with that BS "gotta buy other GI to get a variant" policy that they had in place for a few years. The beer guy, Dillon, does his best to keep up on Beer Menus -- he's very quick to post and pretty good at delisting beers that have sold out.

And yep, they had a fresh drop of all but Reserve and Prop for sale today. Heard Leo's in Woodridge did as well.

Up until last year's batch the CW BBS has always been a beer to get a bit excited about IMO. Last year's was very disappointing and after drinking this year's I've given up on it. Too thin and too much of the blend not barrel-aged. This year's maybe shouldn't even be classified a BBS. It always was a great value but now it doesn't come close to Dragon's Milk, which I thought it exceeded before 2016. I have only had one of their anniversaries, the 16, and it's quite clear where their best beer goes. Maybe they should discontinue CW BBS and make more quality stuff. Customers will find Dragon's Milk if they don't already know about it.

I feel weird posting all the places with regular, but DePaul Whole Foods has about 15 cases available.

Anyone posting they can't fine regular is trolling at this point or hasn't gone to a liquor store in the past 3 weeks.

Oh heck, I think I will might stop by soon to grab a couple bottles, just because. This year's regular is so delicious.

Northwoods was going between $22 and $25 at places like WF, Jewel, Target, and so on. Prestige listed it on Beer Menus at $28, which I didn't think was that bad. Did that not end up being the price?

Leo's has had stuff for awhile, but they were requiring you to buy four Regulars if you wanted a variant, did that change?

Evanston can't sell singles (except Evanston 1st....and possibly until Binny's takes over the former Whole Foods south Evanston location....rumored/reported).

This was in the store on Green Bay Road on Sunday.

I heard $30 something when I was in line which I'm guessing was after tax. I didn't look or ask after hearing that. I've never had Northwood but can't imagine it's worth at that price.

With the exception of Prop, they're all overpriced. Yeah, I just went there. Now the Bourbon County is under priced wackos will lose their mind. :grinning:

I think the regular and coffee were $11.99? That's an okay price for BA considering $15-20 is the norm for a bomber at a lot of local releases. When you start hitting that $20 mark with the BCBS bottle in my eyes it moves slowly into that overpriced range where I'm thinking about the price and clear of $30 forget it. I can buy a lot of really good beer for $30. That's just for me, it's obviously not overpriced for the general public since people continue to buy it and it sells out and given the speed this stuff sells for there probably is an argument for it being underpriced. I'm kind of all over the place here with my thoughts so I'm going to stop now.

I believe Coffee was $13.99. I still think that's a pretty decent price.
