Brewers should not "get into politics" ? Like they did when they used these neck labels, circa 1918?

I care about the beer not the politics. i will buy the beer if it’s good regardless of the politics.

This honestly seems like a very "Stone" thing to do imo. Hell the only reason I ever bought Arrogant Bastard after I turned 21 was the name, and the edge lord story on the bottle. I love it. I'll try it because I like peaches.

Coulda been worse*, I suppose - I'm Peach Mint IPA.

    * Not that the peach alone isn't enough to cross it off my list.

I can't help but wonder what the Venn Diagram looks like for people saying "keep politics out of beer" and those who call for the boycott of Big Beer and any other craft brewery that gets purchased by Big Beer. But perhaps that's a conversation for another time.

Honestly, some political statements are worth making, because the thing to which they are referring transcends congenial disagreements about policy and governance into basic decency.

If any brewery was going to use their platform to make a potentially controversial proclamation, no one should be surprised that it's Stone. To me, this seems perfectly in line with everything we *already* knew about them, so while there may be some consumers who bypass on a purchase of this particular beer, I can't see many consumers who were already buying Stone deciding to take their business elsewhere due to their dissatisfaction with Stone's political disposition.

Just blue states? I bet it will sell even in Alabama.

Still looking for an Alabama beer in NoVa.

Is there any President in history that would not qualify for impeachment? For me this is just a moral outcry to grab attention and divide consumers. I think many people won't even notice the political message though. I will probably buy it depending on reviews. I really enjoyed Fruitallica despite not typically liking fruited IPA's. Their political views for me are a moot point. I assume most craft brewery owners are liberal/democrat, or at least pretend to be since it's currently more socially accepted.

Tell Tales Brewing is making a Saison callled Impeachmint, so possibly an intellectual property issue (though not with Ben and Jerry's which apparently did not make such an ice cream). I also see a kickstarter for im peach mint tea.

Im surprised BeerAdvocates have kept this thread going considering they delete posts that are deemed "too political" - like they are against free-speech or something?!?!?

    Based on my avatar....I approve.

I do like peach and I like IPA , not sure how they go together. Most likely I will pass on this due to price but I have no issue with this name or any other beers name that I can think of.

As far as politics go........I will stop before I start. It won't be nice.

    Enjoy

Never had a peach IPA, will try this if I see it. I almost always like IPAs from Stone.
