Oh my Gerd. This Kush is dope. Love it. Bitter guava turbid goodness. Like eating the tropics. F**k.

    Place is dead. You’re good.

Yeah. This is the NE IPA from HA we’ve been waiting for. Color is kinda gross, but flavor is on point.

Reminds me of juice is loose from transient.

If you’re here, come say. Balding dude in a blue north face jacket or blue sweater. Depending on how warm I get.

Definitely dank as hell, this is a hazy IPA done HA's way. There's a little more astringent bitterness than I prefer, but I'm thinking the beer is a little bit green (I bet it'll be amazing in a week or two). I'm thinking about going back and tasting American Elder to decide whether it's worth passing on another pack of this. Even at $20, damn good.

Visually: a New England IPA. Obviously the visual aspect is the least important...but this looks straight up like a Tree House.

Yeah, would agree also with @prior2two on this (and you), a little green but will be great in a few weeks. Has that raw hops taste to it, but I dig it personally. Elder is much, much smoother but that tends to be the case with 1/2 and 1/2 beer collaborations; the blend smooths out the rough patches and gaps in each beer. Great stuff on tap right now for pale/IPA lovers. Going back today (shocking news, I know). 4 pack going back to CO.

Yeah, I was going to say it reminded me of FR's Power Trip a little, but gets rid of the typical FR sweetness. Either way, it's great.

Plenty of Sailor's Kush at the shop earlier today, for those interested.

Sailor's Kush is top notch imo. Loads of different hops in this beer and they seem to mesh incredibly well here. I don't think it's green at all. It's drinking great right now. Closed my eyes while drinking it btw.

Was quite unimpressed with Sailor’s Kush. Aroma was nice upon opening, but the taste was so-so and there was a bit of alcohol burn. My pour seemed darker than other pictures I’ve seen, so wonder if something was up. I hope the other 3 cans are better.

Grabbed American Elder as well - solid IPA that drank much better. Nothing too crazy or special about it, but easy to drink.

Sailor's Kush is fantastic. Really impressive hop combo and I enjoyed the aggressiveness of the hop bite. Really well executed, imo. A new HA favorite for me.

I can see that reaction, it's a really green beer still as others have noted. I'm giving the cans that I acquired 2-3 weeks before approaching them again. I think it's going to settle down. @SeanBond was correct in that it reminded me of Forbidden Root's Power Trip. Has that rawness to it; it will turn off a few folks. But I dig the guava-bitter punch to the face.

Kush is a perfect mix between West and New England. Hazy (i dont know who said its gross looking its beautiful), Juicy, but still a nice hoppy bitterness. Not as sweet as the NE stuff which i prefer. Bought 1 4 pack and had to go back for more. $20 sucks but its worth it.

Sailor's Kush is perfection to me. Dank, juicy, bitter and exactly how I want my Half Acre IPAs. Still on tap and available to go at Lincoln Ave.

Half Acre employee confirmed today that there will NOT be a Christmas gift box release of Benthic or the glassware in case anyone was holding out for that.
