What are some of the most aggressive IPAs you have had?

I am not talking about NEIPAs or West Coast in particular...just the IPAs that have been the most in your face bitter one sided hop bombs.

    For me it has been

    Moylan's Hopsickle
    FFF Artic Panzer Wolf
    Fatheads Head Hunter
    Green Flash West Coast IPA

The original Ruination merits a mention, I suppose, but I'd hardly call it one dimensional. That's what made it so great. There was an uncompromising resiny bitterness to it, yes, but other facets as well from the malt, hops, and probably yeast- pine, citrus, stone fruit- lean and muscular. God, that was a great beer, sigh...

Oh yeah. The original ruination was one of the beers that got me hooked on IPAs. It was definitely hop forward but had such a complex delicate balance behind the bitterness.

Tired Hands Hop Hands, it's a handful of extremely bitter.

Palate Wrecker was always a favorite for me when it came to frying my palate.

Good call on Hopsickle too. I haven't had that beer for years, I need to track one down. I assume it's still produced?

    Palate Wrecker
    Green Bullet
    Ruination
    Pure Hoppiness
    Knee Deep Hop Trio

I’ve never found Fat Heads IPAs to be super insanely bitter, just extremely extremely flavorful with the perfect amount of bite

*also have heard Alpine HFS is pretty wild

I'll have to go with Palate Wrecker. The first time I had this, I could still taste the resin 45 minutes later.

I don't think either of these are "one sided" but I'd have to go with Hop Stoopid and Gubna.

Based on the title of the thread I was going to say Crusher and Headroom, but after reading the original post I don't think they are what you are looking for.

They are super in your face hop bombs, but not one dimensional (bitter). I wouldn't want to have either before opening up a brew I want a fresh palate for.

Seems like Crusher went down 1% ABV and settled down a bit recently, but it was a kick in the palate before, not sure about still.

Yes but I find that to be more of an ABV thing.

Palate wrecker is a good one. It's definitely a hop bomb but I actually don't find it to be as over the top as their regular west coast.

Maybe 1 of the +3000 IPAs in the database that have zero ratings would make the list.
