Haven't seen any cans for a few weeks now. Anyone know if another batch will be released?

They brewed one final batch last week.

I don't expect to see any more cans in Seattle since people buy it all up immediately. I've got two left from July that will likely be my last.

Yeah, I've got two cans left from the July batch. Still seems to be showing up regularly on tap in Portland, but hoping to grab some more cans before summer ends. Should be seeing them around here soon then.

That last batch of 3 Way was the best of the summer. Anyone else notice it tasted a little different than earlier versions? Sad it's gone.

I picked up a pack from their 8/28 batch while I was in Astoria a couple weeks ago. I don't notice a huge difference from the older batches. Maybe a little more of the fruity aroma when I opened the can. Still have 2 left, I'd better savor.
I was a little said that this run is over until I thought about their fresh hop that should be coming soon.
I picked up a bottle of their spruce ale, man that was tasty!
Keep the good stuff rolling Ft George!

Didnt see a dedicated Ft George thread, so wanted to throw this here.

Has anybody seen or had the Fields of Green IPA yet? Arch Bridge had some cans that sold quickly. Curious if this is seeing much distribution. Sounds delicious

Got a small amount here in Salem late last week that also went quickly, but can't speak to broader Oregon distro. It is mighty tasty so would definitely recommend picking some up if you see it.

I missed it, sounds like it was pretty limited and sold out at most places by now. They have a hazy pale called City of Dreams coming out in sixers next month too.

Fields of Green is the "Lucky 7" at the Orenco Taphouse tonight. I'm drinking one now. It is outstanding. Definitely not one of those bland hazy IPAs that's all nose and no flavor. Very citrusy, with layers of hop flavors that give way to a soft bitterness that lingers like reverb in a tunnel.

Bottleworks got FoG in yesterday and it sold out immediately according to the guy at the shop. Sounds like one case per store.

Gotta agree that FoG is a good one. Not a crazy haze fan, but it has been my favorite so far. Drank it side by side with canned obscured by clouds, and it comes out on top, barely.

Next year's collaborators are Holy Mountain and Modern Times!

I’m guessing it’s the Portland branch of Modern Times?

IMO, the recent City of Dreams is just as good, if not a little better if you're seeking a slightly less bitter taste.

Curious to see how Holy Mountain fits into the new collaboration vs the 2017 release. This based on weather or not the 2018 3-Way will be another hazy juicy beer. Just about anything with Modern Times is excellent.

    I can’t imagine 3-Way 2018 not being Juice.

I definitely think the Field of Greens is better than City of Dreams. Had several cans of Dreams now. Kind of tastes like buttered pineapple. I don't dislike it, just different.

Honestly, don't know much about Holy Mountain. Don't really see it in Portland. MT seems to excel at Hazy/juicy IPAs so could be in that style again, but I'm sure there will be some sort of twist on it. Never been disappointed by any of the 3 Ways. Always a highlight of the summer.

I wouldn't say they excel at hazy, some of their attempts are off on the mouthfeel for my palate and preferences. They have a couple that i think hit the mark, but in general i think they do several styles well and their coffee isnt a slouch either.

You're probably right. While some seem to think MT can do no wrong, the consensus seems to be they do most styles well and a few exceptionally well. As far as their IPAs go, the only ones that really impressed me were Critical Band, Counter Magic, and to a lesser extent, Accumulated Knowledge. All Hazy. I thought Booming Rollers, non Hazy, and City of the Sun, more unfiltered than true Hazy, were both good but not great. I know I've tried others, Hazy and non, that were also just ok but don't recall their names.

I've seen mostly mixed reviews on their stouts and don't know much beyond that although I've seen a gose, saison, sour and lager on the shelf at various times. Maybe they do those really well, but for me, I feel their Hazy/juicy IPAs are the only standouts even though some were better than others. Seems as though they prefer to put out that type of IPA although maybe it's just cause of the current trend. Regardless, hard to say exactly what this 3 way collab will produce. Signs point to another Hazy, but could go any direction really.

Tried Ft George Beta today. As suspected, it’s pretty juicy, thick haze. Def has some bite to it though. Good stuff. Guess it’s about time to fire up a 2018 3 Way thread.

I’m pretty excited about 2018 3 Way. I just hope I get a chance to buy at least a four pack. Some places have to limit it to 1 can due to its deserved popularity.
