Hey guys, not sure if I should post this here or a more specific section of the forum but I'm hoping someone could help me out. A few months ago I visited Japan for work and while I was there I went to a few bars and a few clubs and tried different beers and whatnot. I went to a back alley bar on like the 3rd floor of this shady building and had a beer that just captivated me, it was so good except there's one problem...I had been drinking all night and forgot to write down the name...*facepalm*. Now, I don't think it was a Japanese beer, I remember the name being an English word (maybe a mash of two words). Anyway, they had 2 or 3 beers from the same brewery but different styles but they all shared the same logo art style. The logo is a very White Zombie "La Sexorcisto" and it featured the same little devil character doing wacky things. The beer I'm looking for specifically had the little devil chasing around a boar with an axe (I think an axe). I can't really remember the taste exactly now but I feel it was a hoppy beer and it wasn't very dark at all so maybe a Pale Ale or IPA. I really want to find out what beer this is and any and all help is appreciated.
Do you remember the name of the bar? Try doing a google search for it, perhaps you'll find a menu of some sort or perhaps some activity on a certain popular drinking app that I shall not name
Stone EDIT: That's a brewery with a devilish character on most bottles. Can't think of one with a pig though.
Well good luck locating that beer.. Kinda sounds like a night I once had in Dubrovnik, in the old Yugoslavia, drinking slivovitz and many beers, boarding a ship bound for somewhere in Greece. Those memories only come back in dreams and not at will. According to my dreams I had a good time.
Was it something from Baird Beer company perhaps? They have very cool and colorful Rob Zombie-ish type of artwork on their labels.
These guys, maybe? http://www.satanbeer.com/frame1e.html Found this curiousity: http://kourindou.exblog.jp/iv/detail/?s=2572261&i=200601/24/42/e0088742_23382562.jpg Likely their "Satan Red" relabeled. Maybe they do relabeling for the Japanese market and that's why no one here is of much help.
