In line a little after 7am for $ticker $hock and struck out by 15 people or so. At least I got to try it on tap! It was pretty good!

I got there around 630 and was just into the dental office parking lot. Decent bottle share, great people to chat with. And $ticker $hock was really, really good.

I got here a little after 6 and just made it. Great sours on tap, too. Rhyme Animal is amazing

Ha! TG&PRANYONE? I’ll get right on that name change! I would have been ok if they kept the old format at 2 pp. Not sure I want to get in line at 5am for beer. I’m getting too old for this game!

Got there at 5:20. Great time in line sharing beers. Can't believe the people at the front were there from the night before.

The hippy chick dancing on the walking path by the river was the highlight of my morning...

Did anyone see a lot of line jumping going on? There are a lot of complaints on FB.

I didn't notice a bunch of line jumping. There was a significant number of people who arrived early, set up their chairs then went to sleep in their cars until the line condensed, maybe that's what they were referring to?

One person right ahead of us (we were probably 200 or so in line) called out someone that clearly cut to the front, then tried to cut in line again. On getting called out he tried to start a fight with the person that called him out, so that was fun. I think a lot of this could be avoided if they would stamp/mark hands, but then you'd probably just have people trying to wash them off.

And then the old guy shot-gunning a Rhyme Animal, and then immediately vomiting

A friend of mine from high school owns or is a partner in this brewery. How are their beers?

Everything I've had has been very good to great. BA $ticker $hock is unbelievable. The 2 "pastry sours" they had on were incredible. IPA's are fantastic, too

Wait, you're friends with an owner of what is possibly the hottest up and coming brewery in Iowa and you don't know anything about their beers yet you know every little detail about all the middle of road breweries that have or are opening in St. Paul? You may be the oddest duck I've seen on this site.

I appreciate the insider info for breweries when you have it but may I suggest you put a bit less focus on the likes of Stacked Deck and take a road trip or two out of the metro. There's some good stuff out in those hinterlands!

This might be the most Minnesotan post of all time.

Its a playful barb. I've noticed that, in general, Minnesotans discount the quality of anything Iowa related and have a bit of an insular "Minnesota is the Greatest" thing going on. Very similar to Texas, but more polite of course. And a different accent.

This guy seems to have inside info on every Twin Citiies brewery, but is friends with an owner of one of the Midwest's hottest breweries 2 hours away and he has no idea what the beer is like. I'm chalking it up to that.

The only good thing to ever come out of Iowa is I-35

    Sorry, couldn't help myself...
