I wonder how many of y'all would prefer no pic from me, rather than the crappy quality ones my fumble fingers usually provide?

No pic today, but having a delicious mug I had to share news about, a delicious porter named Mobious. And yes, I too was curious about the name, especially because the two owners/brewers at Equilibrium Brewery are MIT grads, it refers to a series of fantasy novels, which puts it in line with another of their beers that references Lord Of The Rings.

This is a toasty roasty stout, clean as a whistle, super soft on palate despite the strong flavors, featuring strong coffee and rich burnt caramel backbone. Cheers!

 

Morning! Today I am making some German style rye bread so I thought I would make zee compliment with this beer. Apostelbrau Historic Roggen Beer. Tangy and lightly bitter from the rye, low bitterness from hops. Tastes like pumpernickel bread! Under the style guidelines you could put the name of this beer! This beer would go well with hasenpfeffer. Cheers and see you when my bread is done.

Evil Twin: Lost Souls N.E. IPA

 

I don't care either way except it feels more like you are here if you include the pic. I have had to realize that my hair is never going to be right, that I have pimples and that when I take a photo or a video my place can't always be spotless. But of course it's up to you.

 

Haha there may be moments when your place isn't spotless but I bet they are few and far between. Same as with those times my place is spotless.

 

Starting the day with a local Big Brekkie Stout from Lefty's. Haven't tried anything from this brewery before, and after seeing this can I had to grab a couple. Not bad. Nice dark chocolatey coffee molasses dark dried fruit taste with salty smoky bacon, oats and a hint of maple, not too sweet or syrupy though. 8.5% abv, pretty substantial flavor. Pretty nice breakfast stout. I'd prefer the maple to be a little more present but this is still nice. Cheers!
