Three questions: how old are those Hopslams? When do you plan on drinking them? Finally, will you let me know how they taste after a few months/years?

That pic was posted back in February - rest assured, those Hopslams are long gone. Actually, everything in that pic is long gone.

Is he planning on opening a bottle shop that specializes in aged beers? Because I'll be first in line with that line up!

This looks like a perfect "cellar" fridge, any idea on the make/model, or even cu. ft size?

As a matter of fact, I just posted everything you would want to know in this thread:

    http://beeradvocate.com/community/threads/beer-cellar-fridge-help.16365/#post-628473

It holds somewhere in the neighborhood of 250 - 275 beers, depending on your configuration. The shelves are adjustable, and the door is perfect for 1 shelf of bombers, 2 shelves of 12 oz bottles, and 2 shelves of 12 oz cans.

Very happy with this purchase. Unfortunately the retail on this model is quite expensive, so I'm really glad I found it on CL. If you have any other questions, just let me know!

    Cheers!

I ended up going with a very similar freezer, just a smaller version (Kenmore 13.7 cu ft) due to space limitations (there's literally half an inch of space on either side of the fridge). Just picked it up from Craigslist this weekend.

Currently holding 214 beers, if I packed in those last few places I'd say I could get ~230 out of it. Would need some stubby bottles or cans because those shelves on the door are pretty low. I might cut up the door at some point to make better use of that space but for now it's fine.

Very nice! Looks familiar! Let me know if you end up doing something with the door shelves. Those 2 where you have beers laying down are perfect for cans.

Does it have accurate temp control? I'm looking for a fridge that I can keep at around 55

It's a freezer so you have to use a temperature regulator. Drgonzo2k2 has a great write-up just a few posts above yours. I don't think any normal fridge or freezer will keep 55 on its own. 55 would be too high for a fridge and way too high for a freezer.
