    I just started third shift and realized "hey, I can now have a beer in the morning without looking like an alcoholic."

    Seriously though, this is the first time I've had a beer this early outside of judging competitions. It's pretty cool

    Shopping done, chores finished, I'm settling in . . .

    Beautiful rose gold amber color with white cap.

    Scent of caramel, toffee malt with a bready undertone. Some light floral hops.

    Taste on entry is caramel malt deepening with toffee touches as the flavor builds. Though the scent is sweetish the flavor is dry with the hops playing a significant part albeit softly. Flavors carry into the finish with hops being a wee bit moreso in the aftertaste. Simple flavors well balanced.

    It's a March 2015 bottle and I stored it at room temperature. It's fallen off from what it was before. Still doing the trick after 4 nightshifts.
    You'll get used to it! I really look forward to a beer and quiet house in the morning when I work off. Cheers all!
