Has anyone actually been paying the meters? Has anyone even seen it enforced?

 

Yes and yes. Last Thursday I pulled up right by the door and I saw some lady standing by a car and didn't think anything of it. Then when I got out I noticed a pink piece of paper on the windshield that said something like "Parking Notice." That was when I saw the lady had a handheld scanner or something and she was checking the cars for their parking stub. I didn't tempt fate even though I was going in just to get cans so I paid the $2.

 

So annoying...

I'm planning a trip to Bissell this Saturday for Swish. How early would you guys recommend getting there to be towards the front of the line? Thanks!

 

I paid this past Saturday because of matty's post earlier, but didn't see most others bother and didn't see anyone get tickets.

 

Their enforcement is sporadic and inconsistent -- frustratingly so!

 

Right, I know the one time I gamble and don't pay I'll get a ticket.

 

Those god damn greedy lot bastards. On top of that they're trying to end the concerts(or have already)

 

Does anyone know the limits for Swish on Saturday? I can't seem to find that info

 

I believe it is usually (3) 4-packs per person.

 

Have the same question. Staying in the area tomorrow night, then planning to go to the release Sat, then head back to Boston. Wondering how early to get lined up.

 

I'd say 9 would put you close to first out back and maybe 50-100 up front. The releases have been highly variable.

 

Hi all - I'm going to be headed to Bissell on Thursday for the Swish release. I won't be able to get there until 12-ish; think I'll still be ok for cans?

Walked in around 1pm, line wasn't even out the door and they still had Swish available. Didn't get any cans though, due to some space constraints shipping home. Had Swish and Feeling Good on draft though and both were fantastic.

 

Price check and expected limits on Angels with Filthy Souls? Going to the release on saturday and curious what to expect. Also, schedule doesn't say it, but do they still always have Substance at every release in addition to what's on the can schedule? And do they always do front & back door lines? Been to the brewery numerous times, but never for a big release.

 

No idea about your Angels questions but yes, there's always Substance available. They do front & back quite a bit, especially for big releases.

 

Last year was 3 4-packs pp. $18/4pk

 

I don't need to tell anyone that Bissell makes good beer, but I want to give a shout out to the chicken shack next door. I went to Bissell for the first time yesterday and enjoyed some great beer and some amazing hot chicken. Really enjoyed the whole experience.
