    {belated electrons, from yesterday}
    Sour Blonde, dry hopped with Nelson, from the cellars of @Supergenious. A really good beer. Split the bottle with @DrewF, who made perhaps the most relevant observation: "I'd pay money for this."

    Merry Christmas. My festivities start tonight. Time for some fun. Bier vom speziellen Fass is filled with some Speziellen Helles for Christmas festivities.

    Mr. Jingles Xmas ale, an attempt at a Sierra celebration clone. Used bry 97 for the first time for shits and while it made for a nice rounded beer, it took forever to start finished higher than I wanted (should have mashed lower to account for this), and seems to have striped a bit of the hop flavor when it dropped. Nonetheless tasty approximation. Happy holidays!

    Next up blonde mama blonde, brewed for my wife who had our first child the day after I brewed this about 3 weeks ago. For as young as it is lots of promise. Crisp, clean, a touch of fruitiness and sulphur from the kolsch yeast, which will take awhile to fully clear. Nice slight bready flavor from the small wheat addition and great subtle hop aroma and flavor from Columbus and cascade. A perfect warm weather beer for winter in upstate NY!

    Drinking a neighbor's homebrew, a very good robust porter. He gave me several bottles in August in exchange for the loan of some equipment and a few of my own brews. Nice, super clean and flavorful. Wish I had held on to the others for awhile.

    Santa got cookies and fudge (reindeer split 1 carrot), and he got 14+% ABV Coffee Bourbon Imperial Stout, you know, cause the caffeine will help him stay awake...

    Coming along nicely
    Also sampling a Citra and El Dorado IPA...both for non-profit gig in late January
    Drinking mostly Celebration and gifts in Dec. and waiting for Bigfoot in Jan. :slight_smile:
    Thanks to @JackHorzempa for a wonderful Zwickelbier/Kellerbier/Pilsner

    Happy new year! Blonde mama blonde ale again. So damn drinkable and pretty much flawless at this point. Crisp, dry subtle hop presence and the bit of wheat and kolsch Yeast work well
