So what did BAs get for Christmas? Did Santa bring you that refractometer you had your eye on? Did your significant other nab the thermopen you've been threatening to buy all year? Let's hear it, what brew gear did you get for Christmas?

I recieved some beer glasses, and my wife picked up a CO2 tank for me. I guess this is my jumping off point for kegging, and purging as well. Looks like it's a year for better beer.

    I got socks.

I guess they're kind of a brewing gift as you probably shouldn't brew barefoot.

I got a gift card to the LHBS to get my 5L Erlenmeyer Flask. My dad also got me 2 slate coasters and 2 glasses monogrammed for the brewery.

I got cool stuff like a new pfd vest for kayaking and a meat slicer to properly cut my homemade bacon and cured meats but nothing for brewing.

You're not alone. I got socks as well. Got a smoker too. Maybe some malt experiments are in order.

Is monster mill a whole lot better than a cereal killer?

I've had my eye on a growlerwerks for a while. The reviews on amazon have me on the fence.

I don’t have any personal experience, but pretty sure MM is a lot higher quality and more durable. The down side is it costs twice as much. I’m actually kind of debating between MM and Barley Crusher, which seems sort of middle road between the two.

I got $200 to spend on brewing stuff. Not sure what to get though. I've had my eyes on a mill because money savings. But I've also have really wanted a brew bucket... any thoughts?
