Picked up Willitized this weekend and it might be my favorite beer purchase of 2017

Perfect format/price and one of the best cofffee BA beers I've had

I assume B. United is responsible for the canning?
Are US Schlenkerla bottles dated yet?

B United shipped a container of the unfiltered draft version over from Bamberg and canned it 12/21 in 16oz cans.

Also, for anyone still looking, there was a bottle of CBS for $29 at Gordon's in Watertown.

Yeah, it's... fine? Certainly a good intro to the style for those unfamiliar, but nothing outstanding.

Had on draft a few weeks ago. It's pretty decent, but probably won't be on the same level for Trill/TH fanboys .

Schlenkerla related - had an email exchange with B. United and it seems Fastenbier is just about year round now and currently in stock.

Still no bottle dates for the US.

Sounds like Helles cans will be a core product.

I'm a fan of it, it's not mindblowing, but for a NE IPA you can find on the shelf it's damn good and hits the spot.

CBS for $18 at Hannaford in Portsmouth 5 minutes form me.

Not sure I'll be able to top that one seeing it at other spots for over $28.

I'll add that The City in Seabrook still had plenty a few days ago, which is an awesome find this far into the new year.

Didn't see it a couple days ago when I was there but wasn't searching for it particularly. They did have a bunch of BA Rasputin for $19 or $20 which is better than the $26ish I've seen it elsewhere.

Give a call if close by. They had a bunch hidden away.

Nice option to have, between them and Fort Hill we've got some smaller-format options hitting shelves.

I might try and go there this weekend. I got one at $28 which i'll accept once, but i just cant get over how some people are charging $40 for it. One of my friends ended up paying that much because they committed to buying it without asking the price first. I feel like thats worse than what some places would do with KBS where you could only buy it by buying a 6 pack of some other Founders beer.

If we are talking $14 a bent water 6pk, I'll stick with an $8 Fort hill 6er
