    This their Dortmunder. Its got a doughy end but its pretty hoppy for what it is, its very dry and very carbonated. About all it has to it. Cheers.

    Damn, maybe I should be teaching in southern Delaware. Wind and low temperatures would be the thing keeping us closed up north, I have heard the roads aren’t too bad right now.

    Not sure of the bottling date here, but another fairly average brew... Caramel-malty, sweet with deep fruit impressions... Resinous-like stickiness, medium bodyweight... shellac of bitterness coats the tongue on the finish... I don't go for many red and amber ales, so while this is good, it doesn't really stand out as anything special... Comes off a bit too "thick" (?) for my tastes...

    Randomly caught and watched Solaris (2002) on some HBO channel...

    I know it's not for everyone, but I always really dug it...

    Different trailers portrayed the film in different lights...

    This James Cameron version is a remake of the 1972 film, which was an adaptation of the book by Stanislaw Lem... Never read the book; I liked the original film, but I'm partial to this remake, due to the visual imagery and cast, particularly Natascha McElhone...

    I put on the Yak Tracs and got that run in today. It was peaceful with the snow falling, but I could have done without that 15mph north wind.:angry: The lake effect has turned off for now, so it's a quick beer before heading out to clear the driveway.

    This bottle is set to self destruct on 01/25/18 according to the label.:flushed: It's tasting damn good to me like a decadent dark chocolate bar. I can't wait to score some fresh ones! Stay warm and out of harms way people!

    We have a good 10” but hard to tell cause of the winds. Roads are totally covered even tho plows go by often.
