    My avatar is "Zippy the Pinhead" who was a cartoon strip in "High Times" 40 years ago. I had a friend called Zippy many years ago that has been long passed along with several other party animals including my best friend that I used to run with in the late 70's. Most of them are gone so I chose that in memory of them. I often wonder why I was lucky enough to survive as long as I have and they didn't make it especially considering the life styles we used to lead.

    Was debating on saying this "out loud" on the internet, but I'll say it anyways - as a Flyers fan, I'd rather root for the Red Wings than eat that pizza. Sorry, nothing against you or Michael Ilitch (RIP).

    But if I remember correctly, didn't the Tigers make some good off season moves?

    A picture I took of a Modern Times bottle from above. Haven't had too many of their beers but I've liked what I had up to now, plus it seems that they're a pretty cool company overall. Not too attached to my avatar though.

    The Tigers have sold off all of their players as if they were $5 pizzas. It's going to get ugly for a while.
    We've gotten a lot in the last few years for our rental players, but I don't think our team has the ability to coach up those players into major league talent.
