A couple of nights left before heading back to Europe. Bourbon Paradise tonight. And that's exactly what it is. Incredible stuff. Tons of marshmallow, chocolate, bourbon, coconut, and vanilla. A bit of alcohol heat, but that is expected at 15.9% ABV. Cheers all.

    What a wonderful beer.

Totally am getting a New England influence on this one, but at the same time it still maintains it's identity as a beer and not a a juice cocktail!

Leave it to SN to make a NEIPA that doesn't competently bend to the style but still offers enough nuances of it while retaining it's identity as a well crafted SN IPA!

    Cheers!

I didn't realize they'd canned Black Wheat. Awesome to see that, I've always loved it.

Certainly there is never a shortage of things to celebrate. For me, it just wont be with name appropriate beer - until next year at least.

A milestone in my BA existance. This Biere de Garde by Black Hog Breweries and known as Biere De Hog is my 300th rated brew on BA. A very interesting tart brew that I think I like a lot as I drink this 750 ml bottle of 8% brew and also and more important toast to my Father on his 90th Birthday, CHEERS DAD!

Barrel Aged 3 Beans for me. I stopped at a bottle shop on the way home and they had just received 2 cases and were putting them out. I went home with 2 four packs. Delicious !!!!
I love barrel aged anything and sooner than you think they will disappear due to the season. I store as much as I can. In my opinion you cannot beat 4 - 12 ounce bottles of a great barrel aged stout for 14.99 when most 22 ounce bombers are pushing 20 bucks. I will ultimately have a couple of cases cellared and then I will treat them like gold.
