Honest question, Do you think this because it's not a Imperial Stout? Less Trade value perhaps?

i cant speak for anyone else but i personally enjoy that they attempt other styles but ba stouts/porters and ba barleywines. I am definitely interested to see how red rover turns out

 

Yes, pretty much this. Unless they only made 1 barrel of it (which I am sure they didn't) it will last awhile. The trade value on this will likely be close to bottle price. If this was a cinnamon stout it would be close to an instant sell out. I wouldn't be surprised if bottles in distribution hang around for more than a day as well. An imperial red ale doesn't have the hype.

That was my knee-jerk reaction too, however it looks like a completely different beer from the description with cassia bark, and a double barrel treatment (bourbon and fresh oak). It’s also apparently a different base Beer (cassia aside) per their IG.

I’m not the biggest red fan, but I enjoyed Horadric, so I’m in for giving this one a try too.

 

I am sure it is a different base beer, but still very similar. If this is anything like hoaridic with cinnamon it should be a great beer, probably won't max, but definitely getting a couple.

 

I'll wait until it hits distro a couple weeks later. Not driving to Anaheim for a red ale..

I loved Horadric (actually most of the Blizzcon beers I thoroughly enjoyed) and I'm looking forward to Red Rover. Will I max? Probably not. Between me and the significant other, we'll probably top at four, including our WOL allocations.

 

Are people in this thread legally obligated to purchase every Bottle Logic beer?
