Quick rundown: Floridian, Hop Gun, Pineapple Beach & "Vibin India Pale Ale" will be in 6 pack bottles and 12 pack cans.

"Goodness Series" 4 pack bottles: "Huki Idol IPA" (Feb), Key Lime Pie (May), Sticky Treats (Aug), French Toast (Nov)

"Limited Core" 4 pack bottles: Last Snow (Feb and September), No Crusts (Apr and Nov)

Bombers: MBCP (Jan), I Want It Now Tropical Gose (March), Wide Awake (May), Black Currant Tripel Lindy (July), Save Some Room for Later (German Choc Cake - Sept), I'm So Excited (Nov)

BA Bombers: The Love Below (Feb), Mexican Coffee (April), Morning Wood (Oct), and Last Buffalo (Dec)

I think it's cool that they are moving to 4 packs of Last Snow and French Toast because that will make them easier to share & trade. Hopefully the prices are good and don't go up a lot since they've sold out to Constellation Brands. I never buy those $15 sixers of Ballast Point that sit around at all the stores.

I'm also happy to see they are finally bottling a Berliner (Key Lime Pie) as well as finally bottling No Crusts. Overall I think it's a pretty good release schedule. I won't buy everything they put out but they seem to be listening to customer requests and will have some good stuff to offer just about every month this year.

Does anyone have an idea of what bottles will be available at the tap room the day after MBCP Day? Is Last Buffalo still available at the tap room?

    Thanks in advance.

I hope they just forgot to include Nib Smuggler and Sweet Potato Casserole. :slight_frown:

Last Buffalo is still available. I believe Morning Wood, I'm So Excited, and Strawberry Shortcake are in the cooler, but I'm not 100%.

Might show up on draft in the taproom, but they're not being bottled this year.

I'm guessing Nib Smuggler and Sweet Potato Casserole were dropped based on low sales. I see a ton of both sitting around the stores. I thought Nib Smuggler was a good beer and usually grab a 4 pack but was never a big fan of SPC. Both are so overly sweet they work as dessert beers if you just have 1 but neither are something I can drink more than 1 of at a time. If they replaced those with Key Lime Pie and No Crusts, I agree 100% with the decision. Key Lime Pie Berliner will be great in the summer weather and No Crusts is one of the beers that endeared a lot of people to Funky Buddha and it will be released twice so it's good that people that can't visit the taproom will finally get to try it.

What price do you think is fair for a 4 pack of Last Snow? 22oz were around 10-14, now we will get 48oz at a time.

I guess if you consider twice as much beer when it was $10 before, $20 would be fair but hoping it’s more like $15.

Funky Buddha beers are sweet! No way! Isn't that all they do? Sweet, dessert, candy-like beers.

Losing More Moro is unfortunate, I thought that was the best IPA they put out. However I will gladly trade it for 4 packs of French Toast, Last Snow and No Crusts. Could recipes change with the switch from a bomber to a 4 pack, or just likelier to see a higher price point?

Obviously that’s what they’re known for and probably 80% of what they release but glad to see them releasing a Berliner/sour finally in Key Lime Pie which is just a little sweet and the I Want It Now Tropical Gose will see a proper release & hopefully distro. More sours and less dessert beers is what I want but their candy beers will probably always have their appeal

At brewery now. The bottle of key lime will be the tart ale, not the Berliner. Another disappointment is the I Want it Now is nowhere as good as last year but still good

They do have No Crusts on nitro tho

I asked them what’s the difference between KLP Tart Ale and the KLP Berliner and they said “KLP tart ale gets its tartness from lots of fresh lime while the Berliner had extra tartness from lactobacillus” so I guess that means it will be a little tart but not sour. Hopefully it’s good. Still waiting on them to bottle one of their Berliners. I know sours are more complicated to mass produce but FB had had so many good Berliners on tap in Boca location and some at OP taproom it seems like they could do it. Been enjoying the Florida Weisse series from Coppertail a lot...

Please keep in mind the Boca beers have zero to do with the Ft Lauderdale beers other than name. Boca can afford to take a lot more risks and use more expensive ingredients.

Same brewery/brand, two different locations and different quality beers?

Same brand but, different breweries and staff besides location, of course.
Two different mind sets as mentioned previously.

Should MBCP start hitting shelves around the state next week?
