One of my coworkers shared a sour IPA from Hudson Valley with me the other day. I'm not sure which one it was. Amorphia, maybe. It came in an almost purely white can. It was incredible. Really tart and peachy, with a sticky piney aftertaste.

Holy Icon is probably a top 5 2017 release for me.

Peach Silhouette is easily the best beer I've tried from these guys. Stoked on these!

Is this the first Friday release for them? Never been and considering checking it out

What time does one have to get in line for these releases. Is an hour after open too late?

Hard to say. I went to the holy icon/graven image release last month. That was on a Saturday and I got there at 830 for noon opening. Was 175th in line. When they opened I had more people behind me than in front and that was in frigid snowy weather.

i think they are slightly naive to think that this friday release will be chill.

    More than slightly I'm afraid

Anyone think the town said something about the last release so they are trying to tone it down?

Wait these can releases are getting OH or worse type lines now? 175th in line 3.5 hours before open in the snow is absolutely crazy.

Well they do numbered wristbands so one you get one you can leave and come back right before they open. It definitely makes getting there early much more pleasant.

    Not for this release (today):

To that end, we will not be using the bracelet system, so please don’t show up too early! It’s also worth noting that this time around we won’t be releasing any additional limited merchandise

and it's a wonder people are showing up in droves? Secrets out.. Hudson Valley has the hot fire and with Equilibrium not too far and Suarez... perfect storm... won't be shocked if they end up having to go the way of silent/unannounced releases

here in NJ a place called Troon has had to do so.. otherwise people flock and flood the place and the place can't really handle it

Tasted Peach this morning (as well as the others). Can't remember ever getting that much clean delicious peach in a beer. Remarkably delicious.

Had my first Hudson Valley the other night (forget the name now, but all black can) Sour DIPA. It was fantastic and so unique. Tart initially and faded into a sweet almost cotton candy-like flavor. With so much of the same thing being done these days, it's rare to find something super unique and this was very much so
