hey, folks. I’ll be in DC for the weekend, coming in from Boston. Flying in Saturday morning, out Monday noonish. Staying right near Capital Hill. Looking for some ideas for good bars, breweries, restaurants, etc. bonus if they’ll have the football game on Saturday night, and aren’t overly hostile to Patriots fans.

Bluejacket, Salt Line, Union Market and the Bruery Store are all close to Cap Hill and should check many of your boxes

EatBar on 8th is a good, small spot. Not a place to watch sports though. It's basically a mini-Churchkey.

IMO, Right Proper (in Shaw neighborhood, not on Capital Hill) has the most interesting lineup of beers in town. No sure about TVs, though.

Churchkey and The Sovereign are basically must sees, IMO. Right Proper is great as well.

If you want to just chill and watch a game Capital City Brewing has decent beer and food with TONS of TVs.

Capital City Brewing? Yikes. Don't waste your time, especially when Churchkey is nearby.

Does Churchkey have TVs? Honest question. Been there a bunch of times and never remember watching television there.

Looks like they do. Can't promise kindness towards Pats fans, though. Nobody outside of New England likes those *****.

Not the best beer selection, but Capital Lounge is a Pats bar. Right near where you are staying.

I'm a big fan of Eatbar especially with their new happy hour model.

The Veil and Hill Farmstead both for 4 dollars, yes please. Not sure if it's going on during the weekend, but knowing those two are on tap is awesome. They also typically have Aslin on tap too, which is always a nice bonus.

Additionally down the street on Penn is Barrel which is a pretty great cocktail bar, they have a decent selection, no where near Eatbar's but they have more TVs and the like. Food is awesome there too.

This is a stretch. Not the worst place in the city though.

My apologies for chiming in late. I just wanted to say the Patriots suck.
