It was real - he just never unleashed it upon the world, it will forever be a hidden secret. By they way, I know this is not Baseball Advocate - but Dice K was the most maddening pitcher I have ever watched, second is Bulcholz.

Bumping the thread for Six Seam. Shouldn’t be surprised since Idle Hands seems to nail every style they go after, but this is about as well-balanced a NE DIPA you can get.

Wish I’d gotten more than the 4-pack I picked up at Pemberton. Pricey at $19, but IMO as good or better than comparably priced Trill DIPAs.

I hope they start sending some beers to an account near Canton. I've had trouble being in the right place at the right time when they drop.

Treehouse wasn't the only MA brewery to receive tank(s) today.

Had Six Seam last night. Just phenomenal. This is my top DIPA of 2017. I finally got to try Doubleganger this year too and I prefer Six Seam over it. The nose, taste, and carb are everything I want in a NEIPA. Now just need to find a way to acquire more to share at Thanksgiving.

My buddy talked to the brewer and he said it features Mosaic and Simcoe upfront with a backbone of Centennial, Amarillo, Columbus, and El Dorado. Just.... damn!

I stopped into Redstone Liquors in Stoneham last night, and they had a bunch of cases (Four Roses) Bourbon Barrel Aged 34 on the floor. It looks like it was an exclusive to the store, if anyone is interested...

...and again next Wednesday? Because, unless I hear otherwise, I'm planning to be there.

Speaking of hearing otherwise, you have a website, you might consider updating it with accurate and friendly information from time to time. I know that it changes sometimes but it never seems to change with any kind of direct correlation to what you're actually serving. I'd love to know, for example, what you have available to take home in cans and bottles without having to click on every beer - the ones that are actually listed anyway - and repeatedly acknowledge that I'm over 21.

See? This is what happens when you engage directly with your customer base. The fanboys get all whiney and start asking for stuff.

I hear you, it's one of our goals in 2018 to keep our website up to date and it will be a dedicated responsibility for someone to manage instead of myself finding the time to do so.

Can you expand upon what you mean by repeated acknowledgment of the age gate? Is it happening with every page view? Or just every time you re-visit the site? Feel free to send response directly to me; [email protected] so as not to clutter up the thread with technical troubleshooting.

And yes, the next release of Six Seam is Jan 10 along with Kill Your Idles:Tropical ... sort of our FU to this cold weather and January in general.

One case limit on the 01/10 Six Seam.

I met my sister in town for lunch, stopped at Mystic to pick up a case there, then got to Idle Hands just after 3:00. I always go on weekday afternoons and usually there's just one or two other customers but today the lot was full. It looked like everybody else was sitting down to enjoy a pour or two which was nice to see - more like pub-style and less like an industrial warehouse operation. I wish I could have stopped a while but I wanted to get back on the highway before rush hour.

Just got home and poured my reward. I didn't write a review of the last batch, and I don't really trust my memory, but I don't remember the mouthfeel of the last canning being as lush and creamy as this one. Delicious! Maybe it's just that I've been driving all day, but this is punching all my NEDIPA buttons. I'll write a review tomorrow but, for now, I'm just going to empty my brain and enjoy it.

So, I've got a case of the Six Seam, some Kill Your Idles and a couple of bottles of Cross Roader to get me through the next stretch of crappy weather.

Arrived at about 4. Packed. Was a little naughty and parked at Kappys. In and out quick as a flash and in the interests of not being a total sick I did wander into kappys to see if they had anything I fancied. Walk to walk bud. Small shelf off to one side with some BCBS.

    The six Seam is awesome.

Wonder how long the cans of six seam will last, wanted to come in and grab some at opening but got caught up with work. Was thinking about trying tomorrow unless they sell out tonight, was so good last time I had some.

Not sure if this will be the case this time, but the last time it came out I bought it at my local liquor store.

I can say with 99% certainty that Six Seam will be brewery only. In the two days that it has been released we've sold through 2/3 of our cans. I doubt the cans will last into the middle of next week, if not being gone 100% by the end of the weekend. We'll still have draft (and freshies) available for a bit though.

All I can say is that this is a mighty fine beer. First batch was very good. This batch very good. Please @ctkach have this on your schedule for a 3rd batch. This one among the best in the greater Boston area.

Just grabbed some 6 Seam today and I concur whole heartedly with the post above me.

Got a 4 pack of delicious Klara as well and I waited in line for all of 0 minutes. That said, driving in Malden for even 10 minutes is almost as annoying as waiting in line at Tree House.

Definately worth going down for six seam and cross roader among the others they are selling. One can dream they start canning der die das and brunhilda in the future...

I was at the brewery today and the bartender told me they're down to 15 cases of Six Seam (and the guy next to me bought a case after that), so anyone hoping to get some probably should not wait.

They also had Klara, a barrel aged stout, and another IPA in cans so there's quite a haul to be had if you come with a thick wallet.
