If anyone is looking for Fiddlehead draft in Boston, Cornwall's is the place to be this weekend.

    Pouring:
    Fiddlehead IPA
New New Rarified Air Session IPA
    Second Fiddle DIPA
and making its MA debut, Golden Grillz Pale Ale

Rarified is crazy good, and I'm really looking forward to trying Golden Grillz.

Sorry, "New New Rarified Air" is a hop forward APA, and at 5.4% is actually not technically a session beer. But it's still really good. Brewed with oats, ton of body for it's ABV.

Had an Overstable on draft at The Bench in Stowe on Sunday. One to look out for. Was spoiled as I had to choose between MBC Lunch, SS#5, and the Fiddlehead.

Is Fiddleheads website best for can releases, or their social media?

They purposely keep things pretty quiet, best bet is to call them. They update voicemail daily, but tend not to give much advance notice on releases. Second fiddle has been steadily available at the brewery for the past 3 or 4 months

Good to know. In regards to the second fiddle, all days, or just when they release stuff? Should be final question.

good to know. The website still shows 6305 Shelburne Rd, did they expand, or move to a completely new address?

They expanded directly behind the current location (not attached, separate building). I believe as of now that they still only serve out of the old location though the above specifically says this weekend's can release is out of the new location (this is a first).

I would definitely call them if you are looking for Second Fiddle as it isn't quite true that they have cans every day. A quick call today, for instance, revealed that they do not have any cans of Second Fiddle on hand.

Definitely best to call them, it's as if they shun social media. I haven't got involved with their
releases for about a year or more, but before that they didn't post when their stuff sold out. That may have very well changed.

Fiddlehead IPA is regularly available around Boston now. After some fits & starts I think it's really come into its own. A nice balanced clean IPA that's very pleasant to drink.

Nice. I got lucky enough to come home with a growler of Hodad the first time I went to Fiddlehead, and I've been chasing that vanilla-coconut dragon ever since.

FINALLY! I've been waiting for this since the last canning run. Best breakfast beer there is- goes awesome with coffee on a weekend morning.

Can't tell you how many times I've gone to the brewery and bugged them about when this next release would happen... never to get any solid answers, of course. It's been on draft at a local bar for a few months now and it's been great as usual. Looks like I'll have to plan a trip out to Shelburne soon.
