Funny thing...most Mom & Pop stores are successful in spite of themselves.

Back in the day I used to build plastic injection molds, then when the bones got older I started to design the molds. Beer drinking was an everyday occurrence after work. Then retirement came. I am now 21 days into my recovery from knee replacement surgery, and 23 days without a beer. I'm going absolutely nuts. I am patiently trying to decide what my first beer will be....

Let's face it, this is one industry where all of the consumers are essentially 'addicts' who go to their 'pusher' on a regular basis as long as there is some inventory on the shelves. It's kind of a 'can't fail' situation.

An interesting milestone/distinction in an enduring thread for sure. I don't believe it. It's way too revealing.

I lived in Jersey for more of my life than I haven't. I love the state and frankly miss living there. Never worked for the state though - so you got me there :stuck_out_tongue:

Granted I live in the non-concrete section of the state (Look, TREES and FIELDS), the taxes are horrible, the state workers get shafted like no other. 8 more years......8 MORE YEARS.

Used to run a foster care/adoption program in PA. Got cancer, beat it, then it came back stage IV. I'm now on disability (I'm a true medical train wreck).
